Hand Up

I don't understand these threads. Any doubt the team received was deserved. Same with Mario. Same with the CFP selection committee. The fanbase/pundits didn't underachieve the past 20 years, the football program did. Congrats on finally living up to the standard. They didn't overachieve. They did what was expected.

I think it is time that we as a fan base put our hand up and admit we did not have confidence that the program was going to handle business after SMU. I for one will admit I expected another late season collapse to ruin our chances at the playoff.

I believe the loudest voice was @Peter Ariz, who had all the confidence that the team was locked in and would finish strong.

It’s time we have some ******* confidence in the Miami Hurricanes, real confidence. Let’s stop being pessimistic *****. Let’s shake the stench off that the last two decades brought upon us. Thank you Mario. Beat A&M, LACE YA BOOTS UP.
I'll go a step further....

I was so ****ed off after Louisville knowing what this squad is capable of...I figured we would sleep walk in similar fashion in at least 2 more.

The guy that made it serious now telling me it’s not that serious

Holy ****

Here I’ll put my ****** hand up if it gets you to move on

I was one that was very hesitant about Mario as an head coach but I think he certainly has changed his coaching philosophy which could make the CANES contenders for a while. Before the season began I fimly believed we would make the playoffs but after the 2 losses I was skeptical.

We’ve broken a lot of trends this season especially over the last several weeks.
I’m not afraid to say, I believe we’ve crossed the rubicon and are set up for success.
Also our recent success in the ‘big matchups’ has me extremely confident going into the playoffs. We’ll have to correct the results vs the ‘SMU/UL’s’ of our schedule next year. But I know for **** sure this team shows up against perceived big dogs.

Underdog is the best scenario for this team and really the program as a whole for decades now.

I had no confidence after SMU, but it was because of coaching. I didn't like the offensive play calling from game one. I knew who had his thumb on it. The penalties lost us both of our loses. I blame most of them on coaching. I give Mario and the staff credit for addressing things in season. They were forced to expand the rotation's which shouldn't have been the case. I hope run blocking improves for this game and please God, no reverting back to 76% A gap running. We simply can't have 10 penalties in any playoff game.
