It is a mistake letting the Dade County Player of the year decommit from the UM 2016 class. Looking at it from a pure logical stand point Dade county as a whole has the best talent in the country and so why would you not want the player that is considered the best of the best from this county?

Uh well the coaches have seen the best rb over the last 5-7 years I think they got decent eyeball for rb talent.
 
This helps our "average recruit rating" as he was clearly on the bottom of our class. I think there is a reason for that. Wish him well wherever he goes, but this is likely for the best for both parties.

I've said it before that this kid is special and he most likely wouldn't end up at UM. Crazy for some people to not think this kid isn't an Elite back when he clearly crushed each and every team he faced.
 
You've gotta believe, with the dead period ending next week, that Richt is going over the roster and deciding who's in/out and what we need. Perhaps he wasn't showing Hamilton any love. Perhaps he pulled the offer or told the kid to look elsewhere.

We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but I'd like to think they're going to hit the ground running next week to pull in some fresh talent before NSD.
 
If there's any ppl I trust when it comes to rb evaluation its the ones who turned out Gurley, Chubb and Sony. **** if Marshall stayed healthy he'd be a stud too. **** of Crowell had his head in check he'd be an even player then he is now. I trust CMR evaluation of a rb

I've said it before that this kid is special and he most likely wouldn't end up at UM. Crazy for some people to not think this kid isn't an Elite back when he clearly crushed each and every team he faced.

I hear ya Bronco, but this is the one position where I just gotta put my faith in Richt. This guy brings in 5* RBs who dont have a problem sitting behind other 5* backs. Im sure he isnt use to these "Under the radar" types. This guy got Isisah Crowell, Keith Marshall, Todd Gurley, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb in consecutive years. (All consensus 5* RBs out of HS)...Im sure he is looking for a certain type of RB and unfortunately Hamilton doesnt fit the bill. Hope he goes to UCF and has a great career.
 
RB is a position where we actually have pretty good depth, no superstars but...

So does that mean we are getting the same quality from now on? Without SEC bagman, Mark will truly prove if he can recruit now. I hope so. Golden missed RB after RB in the place where they grow on trees. Nobody could have taken Duke away or Al was a complete failure are recruiting RBs here.
