Half the D starters

they would refuse to come off the field dan morgan would lose his mind

I remember dan going to lockertom to get iv’s. That dude refused to come off the field , to the point of dehydrating

I think this game will scare the coaches into not doing that again.

Heres the issue: I think they were judging the performance of the 2nd string guys against sub part competition, which could have been in the form of 2nd team or 3rd team O, **** even our first team... I don't think they expected the talent drop off that we all saw.

I cannot think of a single good play either robert knowles or romeo finley have had in their time here. Not a single one. I can remember Mike smith a few times making a decent tackle but those DBs never seen.

TAPE REQ: FIND A GOOD PLAY KNOWLES OR FINLEY HAVE PRODUCED IN THEIR TIME IN MIAMI

This dumb striker **** is annoying, we just need to stick with what works and either go nickel or go base 4-3. The experiment aint working.
Also that 3 down lineman bullsh*t in passing situations is stupid, we can provide more pressure when we have 4 down lineman in there

Were on the bench when LSU ripped off long run. Including all three starters at lb.

Twenty six d players played in the first half , which is insane.

We wasn’t even playing a tempo team . This staff literally subs themselves into loses.

Total effort by the staff, total **** show from the o and d coaches.

I know Jennings, Smith and Knowles were in - who else?

I heard it on furburgers podcast, they didn’t name the players but all three starting lbs were out . Beyoncé was in and I’m pretty sure Willis was out.

That’s just me naming the actual guys, I did a quick rewind after it happened and that’s what I noticed. Not doing much investigating, I just wanted to see who f’d up.

I was at the game it was mind boggling that we subbed that much considering the length of the tv timeouts. Plus as mentioned LSU huddles after ever play. No reason to pull anyone from the back seven.

for the back 7 we have 6 backups in. Jaquan was only starter. Obviously Bandy was out but

Derrick smith
Beyonce
Mike smith
Jennings
Dean
Ivey

Just rewatched and I saw Ivey and Smith (can you even call him a backup considering he's pretty much our main striker?). Garvin, JJ, Bethel and Willis were all in.

the more I digest sunday the more ****ed im getting that the staff took no responsibility, it was a shytshow

Once again, you can't win the race with your horses in the stable. They shouldn't come out unless they ask to come out. They train all year long so conditioning should never be an issue. Plus players need to get a feel for the game. Can't do that when you're in and out constantly. Sheesh.

Smith is backup to Finley at striker.

Finely played decent this past game. I remember he was in man coverage on the slot and broke up a corner route where he was right with the guy. Theres your good play for Finely. Knowles #Neveragain and he didn't see the field again after the long run. I find it funny that Lance said Knowles took away an easy throw in his breakdown, but when i watch the play i watched knowles get lost and if Burrows throws the ball on time it's an easy 25 yards.

I do think your first sentence is very relevant. I think this is going to scare them into never doing it again. The subbing of knowles on the TD run was all Banda

Ummmmmm aren't you one of the people who complain he blitzes to much that we should play coverage in third down. And also did they convert on 3rd down when we had a three man front and played coverage? Honest questions.

Since when is having 4 down lineman considered blitzing? I’m saying go back to that because it would increase our pass rush productivity

It was a general question Broke. Are you one of the people who complains that Diaz "blitzes to much?" I'm asking cause you seem to ***** a lot about EVERYTHING we do these days. Almost as if you want to be one of the first people to rail against the staff so you can claim you saw it coming.

I don't think LSU converted 1 time when we rushed 3 and dropped 8 into coverage. Know when they did convert??? When we were in a man coverage and bringing some pressure.

Also not for nothing we failed to get any pressure on the guy with our front 4 outside of the first couple drive and Willis consistantly

Shouts out to Tyler Gauthier who told me that Malik Rosier WILL have a great game his next start.....WAS THAT A BACKHANDED COMPLIMENT BTW?

To compound the issue, Diaz chose to blitz Jaquon off the edge with all these backups in. Blitzing is high risk high reward to begin with but now you make it even riskier by taking your best defender out of the play and putting all the pressure on those backups to hold up if the blitz doesn't get home. Bad personnel combined with a bad call yields a bad play. Shocking.

Just Diaz trying to show that he is smarter than everyone else, dude is f@ckin clueless

Maybe they’re trying to prepare for teams like the new look fspoo and Toledo. Remember there was a span of 2 weeks where the defense was out there for Over 200 plays.
However, that’s not LSU and we should be preparing for uptempo teams in practice.
Maybe diaz wants to run an “uptempo defense”
But if we’re subing all the time I can see if the guys coming in are studs. But knowles?
