NO LIE, EVEN IF WE LOSE TO CLEMSON, I WOULD STILL CONSIDER THIS A GREAT SEASON FOR MIAMI... RICHT HAS PUT THE U BACK ON THE MAP...

PERRY IS ALWAYS AROUND RICHT FOR A REASON...

REAL CANE FANS KNOW THIS WASN'T REALLY OUR YEAR, BUT WE SNEAKED IN AND STILL HAVE A SHOT IF WE BEAT CLEMSON...

This has been a great year but I do have a couple things I wanna say.

TBH we should of started Perry. I think with Perry we would have been 10-1 or 9-2 but we would of probably lost more earlier in the season. The way we play call for Rosier you would have thought he was a true freshman with how simple and basic we make things for him. We don't allow Rosier to do anything more then what he needs to do (and deservedly so) which is something you typically do when you have a true freshman. With Rosier it 1 MAYBE 2 reads or tuck the ball and run something Perry would have been able to do at this stage of his career IMO.

No this is not a knee-jerk reaction I just think if we're going to simplify the offense for Rosier then why not do it for Perry who is a much talented player?

The defense IMO didn't take the leap I hoped for. They were still great but coming into the season I thought it would be at the level of Wisconsin, Alabama, Michigan, Clemson, Georgia etc. We're not consistent enough for 4 QTRs game after game as a defense to be that great yet. We always have a terrible 1st half only to rebound in the 2nd half. To be a elite unit we have to play elite QTRs 1 through 4 every game.

Said it earlier in the season and my opinion hasn't changed. I question how good our strength program is. 4 stars all across this btc and they get bullied by Pitt, Syracuse, UVa, UNC.. doesn't make sense to me how we continue to make every defense look like Alabama when we try to run the ball. Searles group better improve quick fast or we need to go after a elite OL coach. When you look at the our defense again they get dominated physically in the 1st QTR and is it me or did our players struggle to bring down Pitt RBs and QB? It like every time we hit a Pitt player they would drag a LB or DB for 2 more yards EVERY TIME. I don't think we've gotten stronger at all as a team. IMO we should look for a elite S&C coach. Someone that will get us great noticeable results.

McCloud and Rosier spots need to be an open competition next year. (I will say McCloud played great today.. reacted a lot faster and made tackles. Still, that doesn't make up for the other 9 games of playing like hot garbage.)

On to Clemson.

I wonder if the lack of a bye week is catching up to us. We've seemed flat after the VT and ND motivation wore off.

Either way, great season -- no matter what happens on Saturday.

100% this was an amazing year. And a fun at that. We won 10 games. Crushed our rivals and stole tons of free national
Attention. And when you look at the depth of this team it’s really the worst it will ever be. We literally have 1 TE and 2 RBs. 2 Safties and a concerted corner at Saftey. And if we are being honest (I know expectation change with the season) but no one expected us to win 10 games with Perry/Rosie/Sheriffs as the starter this year.

Heck of a ride, and it’s not over. ***** the “even if we lose to Clemson” mentality. If there’s one thing I learned this year it’s not to underestimate this team. I thought they’d be 9-3. Wrong. They can beat Clemson.

Great year indeed! Proud of team. Had a bad game yesterday. Learn from it and kick Clemson’s butt

Again if you told me we win The Coastal also beating FSU, VT, and ND take it all day and night. Still man you don’t lose to a 4-7 with an undefeated season on the line!

Anyway I do hope with The NCAA adding a 10th coach Rick gets some help on offense. We also need a special teams coach but please get someone to gameplan and scout your opponent. Too many mismatches ignored. Also I hope Stacy Searles retires looking like another Art Kehoe.

Amazing overall season - simply magical. Agonizing loss yesterday. That's why most of us have a weird mix of emotions today.

No doubt this has been a very special year. The loss yesterday still stings, but we did win the coastal which should happen just about every year but has not happened until now...and we can win the conference by beating Clemson next week. And yes we actually would likely end up in the playoff. But no matter what happens - we have seen the resurrection of our program and it is incredible. Just the start of something truly special.

IF you told me we beat FSU,VT and ND, win the coastal, and finish with one loss to Pitt...go to the ACC champ game I would have been like **** Yeah.

With that said it stings like a **** losing to a crappy 4-7 team.

This season has been the most fun watching UM Foot Ball in 15 years!!

I get what you are saying about consistency but those defenses haven't played elite QTRs 1 through 4 every game.

We have accomplished a lot this season:
Win the coastal for the first time ever
Beat our rival in an amazing way for us (tore their heart out) for the first time in 7 years
Beat VT
Curb stomp Notre Dame (my favorite game thus far this season)
Won 10 games in the regular season for the first time in over a decade
Actually have a home field advantage similar to the OB

overall, great season...see you all in charlotte!! Go Canes!!

Think about what the kids, the staff, the U family dealt with during and after the storm
We had to start, stop and restart... without a week off
We have some glaring weaknesses, but we endured

We had one goal, beat fsu
Check
Second goal, Acc championship
Check
In between we exercised some demons and reminded that miami football in on the big stage again

It's been amazing
God bless everyone has made it the sweet ride it's been

Now let's rock clemson ***

One of the most important results of this season was making our home stadium an actual home stadium again. Essentially packing it for the final three games was impressive (especially UVA) and having the crowd as rowdy and supportive as they were will help us for years to come.

Its been a great season wont lie we beat all our rivals and finally won the ACC coastal division which was our goal.
