I see we have a lot of moral victory type fans here who are always discussing how Richt almost made a NC game. If only their WR had dropped the pass, they would have had one last play from the 10 yard line. Oh, coming so close counts!

here is a guy who came even closer to appearing in a NC game than Richt.

Only a 4th and 9 stop away from going to the 2005 NC game.

Caneface claims that I'm Goldensbuttcheeks because I started a thread criticizing Goldensbuttcheeks. That's no joke. It's not clear to me why he insists I'm also coldbeer and footballhelmets.

I'm stunned beyond belief that 11 out of 16 voters so far believe in moral victories. I figured that this vote would be close to 0% yes 100% no. Do they believe it counts that Golden came pretty close to beating FSU the last 2 years?
 
Cool thread. Now list me all of the UM greats that came to UM having already won a National Title.
