Gurvan Hall given the #26 and other signee numbers

The numbers are as followed: quarterback Jarren Williams (15), running back Lorenzo Lingard (1)., wide receiver Brian Hightower (7), wide receiver Daquris Wiggins (8), offensive lineman Delone Scaife (51), offensive lineman John Campbell (72), defensive end Gregory Rousseau (15), safety Gurvan Hall (26), cornerback D.J. Ivey (8; pictured), and cornerback Gilbert Frierson (3).

Per NCAA rules, duplicate numbers are allowed, but the team receives a penalty if there are duplicate numbers on the field at the same time., which happened in Miami's bowl game as two players wearing the same number were on the field and the Hurricanes were flagged.

Spring practices begin in March.

thats on offense, you can have same number if you play opposite side of ball.
