Gunter practicing with 1st team at Packers camp

Ummmm but Paul Williams is a terrible DB coach I thought.(He still cant recruit tho)
 
Good for him!! Hope he does great. Would prove even more about the failure of "the scheme". Go get em dude!

Ummm he is terrible have u seen our DBs when a ball is in the air?

Ive always said that LG was our best corner and with a legit db coach he would have been drafted no later than the 3rd rd. He balled at the senior bowl (with real coaching) and he's ballin in GB now. As a Packers fan, im happy as **** for him as we have one if the best db coaches in the league so he will learn a thing or two. The canes are starting to make Alonzo Highsmith look like a genius! I just hope they groom him into a safety because thats where he will excel at. Lol to say he is terrible means u know nothin about playing db....

I think he meant Willams is terrible (he is)

He is ahead of several undrafted players to get one of the final 8-10 roster spots at DB. green bays 2 deep at S and CB is basically already set. He is fighting to make the practice team. If he got drafted a team might have more financial investment and incentive to keep him and develop him.

But yeah Golden develops talent. The results speak for themselves...

Unfortunately he's slower than most Defensive Linemen. He's going to need more technique than anyone.

You guys kill me sometimes.

Yall really think our coaches don't do anything.

They do a pretty decent job of teaching technique. Golden is a stickler for details. It's asinine to imply that our players are benefiting from a couple weeks of "real" coaching and that's why they get a couple solid reviews. Just silly. No coach can improve a player's habits that quickly.

It's 100% that some of our coaches teach proper technique yet our team still sucks.
 
I never doubted the teaching / technique side, I question awful in game coaching and scheme.

You people are nuts if you think our DB's are taught good technique.. Just because Golden is a stickler when it comes to details means nothing when the details he teaches are bad details.. Our fundamentals with almost everything are below average compared to other teams..
 
highsmith giving y'all something to talk about!!! who was the kid that made the practice squad for the season then as soon as the season was over got cut. Don't get me wrong, I like the kid. I'm just saying, first team!!!

I'm not being a smartass--I'm really asking honestly here...if it's not technique, if it's not scheme, if we have players capable of making rosters and thriving in the NFL...then what's the problem, as you see it?
