Fraggle thread:

Cam has been slinging it like a Heisman candidate -- until tonight. Tonight he was meh af, but we still got the win on a technicality.

Where does this offense go from here? Towards the end of the game Cam was getting it out quickly... and it was working - but rarely does he deal early.

I think we have to better on early downs, cant keep relying on cam magic to get us out of 3rd and medium or long

Better quick game on early downs, better run scheme
Cam has relied on clean pockets and improvisation to gun-sling. We need him to be a pocket passer and take what's given before bailing and doing superman.

Literally just think Cam needs to continue improving his decision making, and to use his legs more to pick up easy yardage when it's there. Sometimes he still just gets too greedy. There were some poor accuracy moments, but thats not nearly as bad as just bad decisions. Like his fumble was just straight dumb.

Yes,, An unforced error. Every time he scrambles we all hold our collective breaths.

Yes. 60% on third down is a mirage. That’s impossible to keep up. He also needs to take those easy yards on the ground like he did a few times tonight.

The difference between a Gunslinger & a Game Manager, is that the Game Manager cannot & will not lead your team to victory down by 10 in the 4th quarter.

With a game manager at QB, we don't score 38 points.

Game changers/Gunslingers can be both that and game managers when needed…Game managers can only be game managers…ill live with the lows with these highs

For everyone complaining about Cam's first fumble (which was definitely him trying to do too much), that shuffle pass/toss to Riely Williams in the 4th when he looked for sure sacked, is the "good" version of that trying to do too much. I mean he played his worst game at UM tonight, but still had 4 passing TDs, 5 total TDs... around 400 yards of total offense etc. The issues with this team are mostly still on the defensive end... 38 points should be enough to get you a double digit win.

Not a great team so he has to keep slinging.

For one run the ******* ball effectively will help Cam out. We need to get that going more even if it’s just for one or two yards make the defense consider the run game.

#1 = #6 should not be starting, let's use the TE and the middle of the field more

Cam wants to do to much and needs to just start taking what the defense gives him. I love him but he missed so many throws tonight and just didn’t see the field compared to past weeks. But he got us the win and I’m proud of him.
