Gundy rejected the Florida Gators. Nobody wanted that job

Lol and he’s talking back and forth with Tennessee.

EL O EL AT THE GATES!

That’s why I laugh every time that job comes open and all the same idiot fans and media call it a top 5 job. Yet they always wind up with their 4th or 5th choice every time they run someone out of that godforesaken hellhole.

What's even funnier is that he may take the Tennessee job. What a **** show in Gainesville.

Every top flight coach knows that the UF job means you have to be 25% coach, 75% politician. Gundy has to kiss one *** at OK St, T Boone Pickens. At UF you can't compete with the SEC big dogs unless you have fancy facilities. UF doesn't have many multibillionaire boosters so that means schmoozing dozens of rich millionaire boosters, and having to beg a broke state government to pour another few million into facilities. Good luck with that.
Most other SEC schools (Tennessee, Alabama, etc) are situated in states where college football is pretty much the only thing going on, so legislatures and taxpayers have no problem forking over the dough. Not the case for the state of Florida, and UF has the double whammy of also being located in a hellhole. I've said it before, the SEC job that I think has the most potential is Arkansas, since Jerry Jones is happy to bankroll his alma mater.

I find it humorous that UF fired their HC first - and was ahead of the rush - but couldn't get their first choice, second, or third.

Like we got left sucking hind *** and foolishly hired Golden.

Yup...and I was surprised to hear they don't even have an IPF. **** did they do with all that bread they made during the Spurrier & Meyer years?
