if dawson leaves for HC position- I would take Gundy as OC in snap of a finger. My man can coach offense and call plays. he would be dangerous with our talent, especially guys like Mali, Ray Ray, and Spafford next year,

It's a good topic but I am not sure that he fits. It will be interesting to see what happens if Dawson leaves. He has 2 proteges on staff in Drisko and Hoefer who are future OCs and come from the Texas Tech/Air Raid coaching tree. It will be interesting to see if we keep them after Dawson leaves or if he takes them with him.

He didn’t evolve fast enough with the sport.. took him to long to embrace the portal, took him to long to embrace NIL and was never a guy that loved recruiting.

Do they? I don't believe they do. After T Boone Pickens passed who was their mega donor, I'm not sure they collectively filled his shoes.

I would imagine they are a middle-lower of the pack P4 program resource wise.
