VERY unpopular opinion, and honestly I could be wrong, but there’s a part of me who feels nobody would’ve been successful here last year with the talent we had.

He should’ve been better, absolutely. But we were BAD on that side last year. Meesh Powell was by far the best player we had in the secondary, was he even invited to a training camp this year? Jaden Harris and Patterson are literally useless. Bain got hurt on the literal 3rd snap of the season and was never even remotely close to what we’ve seen this year.

Don’t get me wrong, I would vote for Corey Heatherman for president of the galaxy. He’s my **** hero and I am indebted to him forever. But looking back, we had pretty much *** on the roster on that side last year. Mesidor is the odd one, he’s WAY better this year. Is that just scheme?

Anyway, we got bigger fish to fry these days. Good for him getting a job at Memphis. I guess I don’t hate him as much as I probably should because IMO we really had nothing to work with last year, especially in the secondary. Not a single kid we had back there last year would’ve sniffed the field on this year’s team except OJ, obviously. Jaden Harris played basically every ******* snap, for Christ’s sake.

I am semi-retired and coach middle school football now, by unathletic D could adjust to motion better than we could. It was amazing how bad we were at it.

We are so many i juries by the end of the year ! No one could’ve won with that unit! Thats why we had to upgrade training staff! Also guirdy scheme isn’t that bad if Blitz’s hit home

I honestly think him being a lower level coach and on some aww shucks type **** was like yea we can make it work with what we got..

Corey came after spring and was like yea this defense dont look like how I need it to look, went and got Jakobe, Keionte, Toure, Xavier.. The defense looks a **** of a lot different without those guys.. lol..

We were in '24 offseason like there is no way they go into the season with that room, we had coplete JAGS starting for us and depth held by tape.. FIRST GAME we lose Bain AND Damari, at time guys we were depending on big time.. Only the sunshine pumpers were happy with depth, ALOT of others were like this is not good.. I refuse to believe they didnt know that defense wouldnt get job done. Its a dam shame because we coulda went back 2 back.. ATLEAST made the playoffs last year but Cam was such a cheat code, my gawd..

God dammit Lance. I had a good beaver dams becoming sieves joke but you just had to go to Memphis. I got nothing tiger related

Agreed. The communication was shockingly bad last year. And we adjusted to absolutely nothing, no matter how many teams did the same thing to us. You’re right about that.
