.. Guidry is the only coach earning his paycheck … is it perfect of course not . I will take his defense any day over the trash we’ve seen for 15-20 years. At least we finally get some sacks and turnovers again . Again is it perfect ? No of course not

They were killing us with outside zone to the boundary. They were on the field way too much an they held up despite some bad tackling initially. We were flat.

Definitely not at DB or DE. Bain has been great but I am not sure 70 snaps a game out of him is what a DC wants to do week to week.

I don’t see why he don’t play the Browns, they were the most consistent guys all spring and summer.. the older one had two PI calls but with very little reps it’s hard to judge. Young Brown has tackled so well! 22 is a safety

Imagine trying to stop teams with a half recruited DL, a stable of mediocre LBs on a good day, and DBs who run like slow LBs. For me he’s proving coaching should elevate play. Can’t be said for the other side of the ball

I keep saying the offense and Tvd has put cologne on our defense. They ate us up and kept getting third down conversions extending long drives. The only positives is the pick 6, Bain and holding them to some fg’s. Uva was pushing our **** in from the first drive.

Seemed like D'No bend dont break defense yesterday. Idk much about UVA but we seemed determined to take away any big deep balls and instead let them dink and dunk on us which i didnt understand. How many quick slants did we give away? Needed to press up with our CBs. Something seemed off

that being said, that's the first team this year to give it to us like that off jump ... i kept thinking we'd settle in ... i didn't care for the game plan, we gave their qb way too much respect
