A guy can dream can't he? After an average FSU team curb-stomps us, Al should just fly home to Happy Valley..............

The press coverage of the banners has to be getting to the BOT. The last couple have been funny and got better coverage.

If FSU embarrases us on Staurday, Golden could be terminated as early as Sunday. The school does not want to waste an entire season on what was obvious at season's end last year and the year before.

I'm torn between Duke and Pitt. If he loses to FSU, Clemson and Duke, I would think he would get his pink slip after the Duke game, but this is UM and they may let him corch until the end of the season.

My heart tells me Clemson after dropping 4 straight but my brain tells me after the Pitt game that same day. If they do keep him on the entire season you can bet the search will be on behind the scenes. If you let him stay teams will negative recruit and if you let him go teams will negative recruit, it's no win on that front. You're not going to start a new head coach mid season for obvious reasons and I'm not sure any one of our guys should take over as interim (qualified). Plus buy outs and stuff probably factor in, completing regular season might matter? So it might be best to just get viable candidates narrowed down and talk to all the potential agents to gain interest while it plays out.

"CLESMON." That's a good one. The right answer is probably Pitt.

Hurts to fire him in season. What we want is the decision to be made, so a quiet evaluation can be done and a new coach hire in December. It's what elevates Schiano's chances. They are not going to want to sacrifice the 2016 class. Schiano does that because he is available and he has very close ties to South Florida. Not my top choice, but probably the most likely.

What are you talking about? How does it "hurt" to fire him in season?

Well, if we are 3-1, all he has to do is win three more games to be bowl eligible. He can probably do that against UNC, Pitt, and GT.

So, before the bowl game. Too bad, we'll be 6-6. *shrugs*

I honestly don't know why I voted after VT. I'd love to know something, but not know it...... that even make sense homes? Honestly, I would not be surprised to see him retained all year and fired a couple hours after the Pitt game.

Imo, as soon as we are mathematically eliminated from a Coastal title, he is gone. Losses to FSU, Clemson and Duke should do it. Unfortunately, I think we beat VT.
