I truly believe Al will be sacked before the season ends. So, let's play a game. Guess which opponent will be his last.

I hope I'm wrong because this kills me but nothing in the last 5 years makes me believe it won't be number 7.
 
Aren't after Pitt and before Bowl game the same thing? Or are you assuming that there will be an ACC championship game in there? That won't happen by the way
 
He was always gonna finish out the season. He could be 0-4 now, he'd still be here until the Pitt loss.

After that, he's gone. Of course I thought that last year though.

He was always gonna be here for the year, unless he quits, which he is probably too stubborn to do

I wanted him gone after Maryland bubble screen game. I want him gone tomorrow. Ultimately, he'll be here to coach again next year. Cherish the memories of Butch's ruthless cane players.

If it's not after Duke (and 4 straight ACC losses) then it won't be til after Pitt.

I was dying laughing that 24 people think we're going bowling.

I do think if we had a late BYE there might have been a chance. They won't do it during a game week.
 
Duke. I can't see him surviving a 5 game losing streak and 0-4 ACC start, even with this joke of an administration. There has to be somebody in the ivory tower that at least has some sense and will want to get out in front of the coaching search. Not that there really needs to be much of a search (Butch Davis anyone) but I'm sure they will bungle it in some way.

Cutcliffe's team will rape this mockery of a "wefense" with ruthlessness and send GoldOfrio back to Jersey in tatters.

And I also find hilarity in the idea of this squad going bowling...
 
Those vegetables on the BORG better let this play out. They wanted to give Al another year, then give him the year. No weaseling out of responsibility and limiting the damage that's been done by canning him midseason giving the appearance to the national goober media that they are somehow being proactive. Forget that. Let them experience the full consequences of their decision. After the Pitt game they can make the change.
