GT's QB is the best CPJ has had and is a sophomore. Great news for Al
Cook has already been the difference in three of FSU's wins.
He was the best player in the state last year and he will eventually be the best back in the country.
Why do you guys keep saying that?
Prior to this game Cook had 124 Carries 728 yards with a 5.9 yard average - his longest run is 44 yards
Yearby has 80 carries for 500 yards with a 6.1 yard average - his longest run is 67 yards
Yearby out rushed him in high school and if these same numbers suggest that if Yearby received the same amount of carries he would have out gained Cook again. Cook has 47 more carries than Yearby. Plus Yearby missed a game with a hamstring injury
So what has really changed since highschool?
They need to ******* send someone

I am not sure how invalid the HS stats are. Yet, this: Cook was in college WORKING out and getting reps with Football team, while Yearby was in the whirlpool rehabbing his ankle. Never underestimate the utility of Spring practice for an RB to practice & learn the speed of the game. Cook got the opportunity while Yearby didn't.
What OSU is doing with QB #3 is pretty impressive. My football life is in the toilet.
There really isn't a Yearby vs Cook debate anymore this year. Give it up. Take off the goggles.
