Why are we entertaining clowns during a big rivalry game like this?? I'm all in like the rest of the real UM fan base its easy to spot the fakes.

People are nervous because of the last time we had a start like this it was a fluke. We all know VT isnt one of these elite teams that will end up in the top 4 but its a team that has given us fits and they have proven to be a very stout squad. Combine this with the fact that this is looked at as "our first obstacle" and the complaining fans will find something wrong. Personally I think we field the best Canes team we will see this year just based on the nerves that this is a crucial home night game, and alot is at stake right now.

If it's already understood that we arent elite yet what's the problem?? Any team can win who cares root for the home team or sit the fck down. These clowns talk like there aren't any underdog victories in college football and we are a much better team than that.

"Perfect teams" get beat every saturday by teams with more flaws than us but these groupies believe they're making a point??

I can't for the life of me understand why someone would bow at the alter of this VT team. We haven't fired on all cylinders yet this season and we are still 7-0. I don't care if the schedule we've played looks a bit weak. We have more play-makers on both sides of the ball than we have had in a long, long time. Frankly, if we play the way we are capable of playing, VT doesn't have a chance.

I don't know if it's a generational thing or something else, but it's crazy. Read a thread yesterday and every other post was people giving reasons why we should be scared. Can't walk around lowering expectations because you're scared of a certain outcome. That's a bad philosophy for football and for life in general. We haven't looked like world beaters yet this season, but who has? At the end of the day "I ain't neva scared!" Shoutout to BoneCrusher.
 
Straight up, if you have a defeatist attitude before the game is even played then you are acting weak af period, especially at a time like this in our program after winning 12 in a row

Amen. We have learned how to win when we play bad. Once we learn how to play good, this team will be scary good. I just keep remembering the 83 team. By the time it got to NE game, I was certain it would win. NE did not play bad, heck the came back twice. We just stayed calm and beat them anyway. For me, VT is a bump on the road and ND a slightly higher bump. We will get their best game but I believe we will clear both. If we play our best game, we will win easily, if not, then it will be ugly win like the others.
 
Some of these Nyggas is es plain and simple, I don't worry about dudes like that. Most of those fake fans don't even go to games.

Like Eminem said about ICP when they had beef, "claiming Detroit when you live 50 miles away" dudes claim Miami but don't live here or go to games here.
