GREGORY ROUSSEAU! Wow.

He should figure out a way to leave after this season, as all of our great young players seem to come down with progeria and wind up playing like 90 year old ladies by the time their junior/senior season rolls around.

Shaq looked destined for greatness as a freshman. Now he’s playing like a pudgy Glen Cooke. Fred Garvin went from Ted Hendricks Jr to Quincy Hipps.

He’s unbelievably good. A one man recking machine. The play he made, when he’s playing nose guard
( WHY DOES THE STAFF PLAY HIM AT NOSE GUARD?? STOP IT!!, JUST RUSH 4, KEEP HIM AT DEFENSIVE END, LET HIM COME OF THE EDGE AND GET YOU STRP SACKS),
puts pressure on the QB, gets him to scramble to his left, Rousseau peruses and then reaches out, trips up and knocks the QB down for a sack. Very few athletes can make that play. Unfortunately, he’s most definitely a 3 n done. Got one more season with him. He gets better with every game he plays.

look, baker plays Rousseau at Nose Tackle, we complain.
He moves him to Nickel Back, and we STILL complain.
what’s wrong with us?

Right!! #cursed

Dont get caught up in #numbers, garvin is ballin this year, he's on the strongside now, getting way more attention, but he probably has the most qb pressures on the team. Having garvin on the strong side is what is helping rousseau do his thing. Dont sleep on what garvin is doing this year, he's playing at a high level, the #'s are not their, but he is!
garvin gets held a lot

Yesterdays game kind of reminded me of that wisconsin bowl game in coach rict's 2nd year, the referee association know that's that's one of the main advantages we have are our athletic d-ends, so to even out the playing field, they like to ignore calls against our d-line!

Been this way since the 80s

Never understood why early on Rousseau wasn't in the line up. He has the athleticism to play almost any position on our defense. He would have been better than the walk on we trotted out to play striker against GT.

Fo sure, but it affects us way more now because they've finally be getting alot of our players to leave the area, so our roster isnt loaded like it use to be which why one of the biggest things we lost with coach richt leaving is, he had a trait that the good to great coaches have, and that's being a real good talent evaluator. The question now becomes, how good of a talent evaluator is coach diaz, he showed promise by what he said about why he valued rousseau real high, but alot of us who know football knew rousseau was an instant balla, the many play receiver in highschool and in the secondary. Yesterday that man was in pass coverage, did a real solid job sticking with that runningback and making the solo tackle after the catch, for a minute i was like, WTF, did i just see rousseau in nan coverage, who let the penn disgrace moron back as "efensive coorinator" and yes, that's spelt correctly, when referring to that imbecile, the 5th letter in the alphabet is prohibited to use!

I remember Quincy Hipps! Played against him in basketball in high school. I remember being so excited he was coming to Miami and then so grossly disappointed.

Agreed and I hate this 3 defensive linemen set we run. Offenses continue to get big plays every time we lineup in it!

See these are the hidden gems u take chances on mostly everyone was high on him. Why was his recruitment slow? Was it because no one knew what position he would play?
I rememeber watching his film and liking him alot

I wish our retarded fans didn't say this after a player has a few good games. We haven't had a 3 and done who deserved to be a 3 and done in over a decade. Rousseau is not a surefire 1st rounder after next season, you guys need to stop with this. Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, and LSU all produce guys like Rousseau every year. This gets in the heads of guys like Joe Jack, McIntosh and Norton and they all end up leaving before they should.

Rousseau plays the strong side too. Garvin is backing up hill now at weak end/viper. Garvin mostly plays the strong side in pass rush situations.
