Were all interviewed after Golden left, I would have taken either one of those, could have gotten Butch or Schiano after Richt. Dan Mullen and Butch beat Manny this year, he'd probably lose to a Schiano coached Rutgers team as well lol....boy, boy, boy our administration.

This isn't news. It goes without saying that right now we'd take almost anyone over what we have.
 
Not mad at all that we passed on Butch or Schiano. Personally I just don’t like Mullen. Good coach but idk.

Wish we just had a coaching search after Richt. As an AD you never luck into a situation where you get off the hook of a coach that’s spiraling the program downward.... and James just blew it. We had all the money we needed and an opportunity to fix it all. Blew his load in 6 hours and I’ve never seen anything like it.
 
Moat will lie in this thread. Most posters hated the idea of all those names but Butch and only the hardcore BBB crew really wanted Butch back

And only a very certain few didn’t want CMR. Let’s not try and change history. If I’d like to pull the threads. The receipts are there

Dan Mullen would have had this program where we all believe it should be by now, IMO

Question is: Would they have paid to keep him, and allowed him to pay his staff??

I’m also curious to know if the fundraising would have been on par with CMR, because he’s the reason for the indoor facility.

Pull them I hated the Richt hire, I wanted (In this order) Mullen, Butch, Schiano, Tom Herman.
 
Butch is also 6-6 against similar competition. Mullen is the only one who would have been good. However most on here would still complain about the 10 win seasons Mullen would have had here
