Green jerseys for the first time this season

Get rid of the feathers! The green is fine, the feathers are dumb.

you do realize our mascot is a bird?

Don't make it that simple for him man

I don't see Stanford with leaves on their jerseys, or scales on the Gators jerseys. I don't see cattle hide on the longhorns jerseys. It's ridiculous and so is the idea that we should have stupid looking feathers on the sleeves because we have an Ibis as a mascot. The last time I checked, the Ibis didn't have white feathers with orange stripes.

adidas logo is literally three stripes.

Everything about this football program and this university is FUBAR and likely to remain so. Adidas is a joke, making a team that may go 4-8 or 3-9 their "brand" school. The ACC is also a joke with this dead weight of a so-called "football school" making them look even weaker than before. (Yay! Another WF without the academics!)

Nice. The green should really accentuate Alex Galls floppy ******* nicely as he repeatedly gets manhandled into the backfield by a 2 star recruit tomorrow.

Random question, are these jerseys ever going on sale? It's the middle of October and haven't heard a thing.

They are hoping the green will camouflage him and we won't notice when he gets knocked to the turf.

I keep reading this, but here's what Adidas (you know, the ones that made the uniform) have to say about it:

The adidas press release corporate-speak describes the uniforms like so:

Developed in collaboration with the University of Miami athletic department, the team’s new look is highlighted by updated metallic stripes on the jerseys and pants, incorporating hurricane style cuts and patterns throughout the new uniform. Additionally, the “Hurricanes” moniker is strategically placed across the ribbing of the inside collar for the players to see when they don the uniform, while the classic oversized “U” logo is stitched into on the back of the jersey for all to view.

Some people rationalize the "feathers" as relating to our mascot, but that doesn't appear to have been the intent. Instead, it's just "hurricane style cuts" whatever that means, i.e. sort of looks like Oregon because Oregon is so cool and Miami is Adidas's Oregon.

Black cleats would really make those pop.

All these new fancy uniforms supplied by Addidas being shown off by a crappy product on the field. How many fans will attend the game to see the uniforms.

Yet some claim that leaving Nike for Adidas was a good thing. I told ya'll that Adidas would royally f up our jerseys. They promised us traditional uniforms and our jerseys look like Saturday night at the Flamingo.
