After the overwhelming success of the thread Greatest Long Snapper In Miami Hurricane Football History, @DMoney @RVACane @TheOriginalCane @Empirical Cane have asked me to provide my opinion on the greatest place kick holder in Miami Hurricane Football History. The answer is, in my honest opinion, one and only one.

His name is Freddy Capshaw, #13 whose second job was punter, but he was primarily a place kick holder. That's what he was recruited for by Don Soldinger and he did a spectacular job during his tenure. Happy to entertain your thoughts on this subject matter.

The Borregales brothers were automatic their senior years. Had high hopes for Badgley because he didn't seem to get rattled, his swagger, and had a leg and a half. But for ***** sake he was so inaccurate and missed some big kicks.

He automatically wins this just based on him picking up the ball when he saw that the kick was about to be blocked vs FSU in Tallahassee in 2001…and then outrunning the entire Nole defense to the end zone. When the holder turns a would-be blocked kick into a TD, he’s the GOAT.
