Greatest individual Cane performances in a game you've seen

Ottis Anderson singlehandedly beating Florida in Gainesville in 1978 on smoking hot day in early November. Miami beat Florida for the first time since 1970. He had 30 carries in the second half on astroturf and 39 for the game. Every yard he picked up was grinding ahead 3 or 4 yards a pop. I think Miami threw maybe 2 passes in the second half. Miami shocked Florida in the 4th quarter down 14-3 at half and pulled it out 22-21.
I was at that game, the Turds scored first & missed the extra point. Doug ****er chased the missed point & the Turds were up 18-0.
Lou Sabin had a long 2 minute drive, settling for a FG, this was met by a derisive cheer by the Gator fans,, i was in the student section. Got a ticket for 2 bucks outside.
The students were quite polite, turned me on to cherry brandy/cokes.
It would be ****ers last game at Fl,, i despised him more than any Gator who ever lived.
Again Otis went crazy, & we owned the SEC..

On his last TD he ran through 4-5 Gators....

All Saban did was line up in Power I and run off OJ off tackle left and off tackle right in the second half. Like I said I don't think Mike Rodrigue threw more than two passes in the second half. Wasn't going to risk a turnover and Florida turned in over time and time again in the second half. I think OJ had 145 yards and no one of them was easy. Unbelievable performance.

Kevin Patrick super kicking Charles Johnson in the Boulder Brawl.

LoL, so was I. Sitting with a high school buddy in the student section in Miami gear. Just getting harrassed until the 4th quarter. Fun game. Danny Miller's game winner in 1981 still greatest moment in the series until Brock's throat cut.

I was there too, was it Hot or what?
Warmed my soul when the Gator FG attempt hit the cross bar & bounced back onto the field.
If I'm not mistaken, i thought ours a minute or so earlier hit the upright.
That game is why I'm glad CMR came home..

Sean Taylor 2003 FSU
Sapp 94 FSU
McGahee 2002 Va Tech
Tyrone Moss 2005 UNC
Edge 1998 UCLA

Tyrone Moss vs UNC is a good one. The season probably would’ve turned out differently down the stretch if he hadn’t gotten hurt.

Edge vs UCLA
Sapp vs Nebraksa.
Rusty Medearis vs Nebraska 91

Thank you. The Medaris performance was one for the ages. No one had done that to a Nebraska OLineman ever.

Sapp demolishing the 2 alleged AA OL from BC his last year was another great performance.

Cortez against ND in the OB was my all time favorite. As great as JB was, dominance from a DT like that was few a far between. Some of the youngsters around here that were touting RJ and Norton last year have no idea what a truly dominate DT looks like. He was a monster among men that night. One of the best to ever line up. RIP.

Go Canes!

A recent one for me was believe it or not Dallas Crawford against NC the same game Ebron made his money off a Doritos defense. Not trying to get over any players already mentioned, just adding a name.

“Zero Dark Thursday” game LOL. I remember Duke going nuts in the 1st quarter and he got rolled up right in front of where I was sitting. Really thought that was gonna do us in. But I have to agree Dallas was great. Been to a lot of Carolina Miami games and Kenan is usually a terrible place to watch a game but that night it was a pretty good atmosphere. Loved ripping their hearts out. I hate that school.

Tremain mack came the closest of any player to single handidly win a game ever .it was our first game ever at joe robbie stadium0.it was a bowl game .I believe it was the carquest bowl against Louisville. He was responsible for all of Miami's points that night.with a punt return rd a pick six and an into that set up a field goal. We only scored 17 points that night

See folks, this right here is how you use the red x. You signify that you disagree, and then leave a comment explaining on what grounds the disagreement lies.

Only a cvnt negs and runs—and if you think this post is about you, it is.

No, Danny's kick grazed the left upright as I recall. It would have been good from 60. The Florida kick was dead down the middle but into a slight breeze coming from the East endzone it landed short maybe 3 yards. LoL, Mark was something like 2 for 13 filling in for Jim, but the 2 he completed were daggers. The long touchdown to Rocky Belk and the crossing pass to Glenn Dennison to set up the Miller kick.

As bad as Kirby Freeman was, he beat FSU in Tallahassee and he was brilliant that evening. So I'm good with him. Just like Brock versus Florida in 2003. Still the greatest 20 minutes by any Miami quarterback. The throat cut will remain an all-time great moment and exorcised the "Flop". And screwed Doug ****ey, that anti-semite *******. My high school sent him our punter, a ****** kid, who to this day is still the best high school punter I ever saw. He quit because ****ey was a certifiable a-hole.

Brock Berlin had an absolutely on-fire final 20 minutes to close out the game vs the Crocs in 2003. Kirby Freeman, on the other hand, had ONE GREAT DRIVE vs FSU in 2007. He hit throws he could never hit again on that drive. But it was only one drive, so I don't know if I could include it in the "all-time great performances" category.

Agree. Freeman was awful up to the drive. And he was even worse the following week against NC State. Might be the worse performance by a Miami quarterback since the mid-70s when Miami ran the bone. Really an analogy to Richt's last two drives against Florida in 1981.
