And it's not even really close.

Golden is a ****** position coach. Coker was an above average OC who got subsequent HC jobs and Shannon was a borderline elite DC.

We literally trusted Temples evaluation of Al Golden, and temples only beat writer, Whitlock, ****ted on him on his way out.
 
Coker hands dow and imagine he won a title thats how well putthat roster was......butch made him look great n he was awful.

I voted Golden. But I'm not sure he was that much worse than Shannon. People view Golden worse because he was more recent, and also perhaps in part because Shannon was an alum.

Wright should be much higher on that list, as should Nix and Swasey. Whipple was not good but he was far from Nix level bad. I'm somewhat less hard on Dorito than other people since I've always felt he was running the scheme Golden was forcing him to run.

Dee was a decent AD although what he did to USCw was awful.

Perhaps but Johnson's 8-5 was very deceptive. He had a murderer's row of a schedule and awful luck. Plus the admin saddled him with a lot of Schnellenberger's assistants who he didn't get along with. Once the admin let him bring in his own staff the next year Johnson got things going.

Even if he didnt ill take that 00 squad right now and a yearly top 5 finish. He aint no genius but i bet his *** would let bama n fsu play him at the alter. We have not recruited the way he did since he left and still havent even with MR.
