Love the man, the team is well coached and tough, but coach called a bad game today. I know he's rusty with play-calling but we need him to improve. He was too conservative this game and I certainly didn't like rolling Kaaya out TWICE to the left.

But overall, I loved what I saw and a win is a win.

4-0!! And it's FSU week

Let's go Canes!

We keep seeing that he's only used 50% of the playbook we will find that out next weekend

Had he been more aggressive and passed more on on early downs we win by 30 today.

How did he call a bad game?

We only had the ball for 20 minutes you realize that right? We had 355 yards and scored at will when we needed to

It's hard to put up big numbers if your defense can't get off the field

This board is so crazy

You loved what you saw? Man... pump the brakes. This team has a LOT of work to do.

Go back and look at the Clemson vs Georgia Tech game from a week before for reference. That game was a physical beatdown.

This game - if GT didn't make some mental errors and fumble the ball away twice, we might be looking at a loss. We couldn't control the line of scrimmage and run the ball right at them. We couldn't set the edge and stop the run. We couldn't get them off the field and we needed lucky breaks to pull this one out.

Look, I'll take the win... and I'll take 4-0.... but I'm highly concerned about the FSU game coming up

This season is reminding me a lot of 2013 when we started out 4-0 and went all the way up to #9 in the polls, then FSU came to Miami and smacked us down and our whole season collapsed, and that was the beginning of the end for Al Golden.

If you are expecting him to be elite every week, then you are unrealistic. This wasn't his best gameplan, but it's amazing that Miami can win by 14, Kaaya have a great game, and people are pretending that this game was super close. Miami got out to a big lead, and Georgia Tech, due to their offensive scheme, which feeds on Miami's inexperience on the second level was able to slow the game to a crawl, and put the brakes on what could have been a thrashing. Outside of a short stretch where it was a touchdown game, Miami was up by 14+ **** near all day. I think that Richt should have been more willing to use the short passing game, instead of the run, which didn't work throughout the afternoon. Miami should have been running more screens, more slants, etc. That was where the plays were.

Chess not checkers guys if he can hide 50% of a playbook that FSU hasn't seen, why not do it

His play calling may have been a bit over-conservative at times but all in all I saw what he was doing. Our D was on the field for weeks at a time today, clearly CMR was trying to establish the running game as a result of that.

It is what it is. Im still more concerned about Brad Kaaya's periodic disappearing act than I am the play calling. All in all, another good win for the Canes. Undefeated going into my trip to My-Jammi for the FSU game next week. Needless to say Im stoked.

Alright thanks. Someone has a better memory than I do.

Still remarkably similar.

Hating *** posts from poster who has a join date of Sept 2016, hmm maybe he's not really a Cane fan and instead a troll. The trolls are always active on here but they come out in droves on game day especially after a W. Fun times.

What mental error on the fumble are you talking about? We had guys on them both X's to cause the fumble, that **** wasn't no mental error. A mental error was Njoku causing a 30 YD penalty which was BS IMO and could have lead to a TD to go up by 3 scores. First x the FS LB core play against GT, and next year I expect em to be more ready.

Charles Kelly has a week to prepare for this game. When he pops in the tape of our games so far, he will get absolutely nothing from it (other than our O-Line can be exploited, something I'm positive I know our coach is well aware of).

Richt has been planning for this game for months.

This game comes down -- ONCE AGAIN -- to whether we can stop the 4's. Number 4 on Offense (Cook), and Number 44 on Defense (Walker).

I think jumping up 28-7 had something to do with the vanilla play calling. When we really needed a score, we opened it up and scored easily. Now, I hope and pray we go hurry up against FSU, and all game long.

Beat FSU and all the doubt and skepticism anyone has about this team will disappear.
