Some nice comments by teammates and fellow Canes Chris Herndon and Lawrence Cager...
Herndon is the starting TE. Cager was waived but Jets picked him up for the Practice squad. Berrios made the 53 man roster and is 2nd team WR and punt returnerDid not know Herndon was still on the Jets. Glad to see him sticking in the league.
I know Cager is not anyone’s favorite Cane but hopefully he makes the Jets final roster and has a solid career.
Thanks. I recalled Herndon on the Jets but thought he had some legal issues. I don’t follow the Jets at all so I haven’t noticed he was still there.Herndon is the starting TE. Cager is not a Cane. Last I remember, he had a big fat G on his helmet. He should be irrelevant on this board
For the sake of argument, if King is one and done here, is he a Cane or not? He, like Cager, decided to go somewhere to try and up his game in the eyes of the NFL. Cager went his senior season, doing essentially the same thing.
I don't know what Cager claims, but he spent three years as a Cane while King spent all but one as a Cougar. When it comes to making a business decision like they both did, I cut them some slack and they can claim whatever.
It's ok for you as a Porster to bash the U, but not ok for a Player to try an up his chances in getting to the league.Cager is not a Cane. Last I remember, he had a big fat G on his helmet. He should be irrelevant on this board
I believe he was here 4 years. He was playing as a true freshmen and making plays. People forget he suffered a bad ACL injury later in his freshman year and took a red shirt his sophomore recovering. It was a slow road back for him.For the sake of argument, if King is one and done here, is he a Cane or not? He, like Cager, decided to go somewhere to try and up his game in the eyes of the NFL. I understand your point but transferring in is much different than leaving. For the sake of argument, if King is one and done here, is he a Cane or not? Guarantee he introduces himself as a "Dawg" Haven't heard him talk much about the Canes recently, only UGAFor the sake of argument, if King is one and done here, is he a Cane or not?
