The first time I heard of Christine Brennan, she was covering Miami-Dade North's CC basketball team run to the Final Four. One of her articles was on Miami-Dade's center Yvon Joseph, who was from Haiti. They made it to championship game where they lost to a Texas team lead by some little 5,7ish guard named Spud Webb who dunked on 6,9ish Joseph....I know, I'm old...lol
