Great news on injuries

If you consider averaging over 100 all purpose yards a game last year not producing, then yes you are correct.
That number is skewed due to only playing in 8 games and put up good numbers in only 3 of them. In four of the eight games, he gained 50 yards once. And he was junk down the stretch.

3.9 yards/carry in 2021 and 4.0 in 2020. In

For the hype this dude gets, the production isn't there. All this speed, speed, speed talk and barely moves the ball when it's in his hands.

If Zion can't play we need Sagapolu in that RG spot

I'm not forcing Zion back before he's ready. He did not look good in his short stints earlier this year and playing him before he's ready risks re-injury, bad habits to compensate for his body not being 100%, or potentially a confidence thing. Coaches need to think long-term bc short-term, this season sucks. There's other linemen to plug in at guard.

He is an average running back right now because despite his explosion, he has poor contact balance. Hope they find ways to get him the ball in space and let Parrish take the majority of carries

He’s of very sound mind and spirit. He’s not transferring anywhere fwiw end of story. Don’t expect him to do anything outside of come back before years end and run his *** off.
It's pretty sad that our own fans don't realize we need this kid since he's the closest thing to a Real RB we have.

(Oh wait I forgot we also have the HS Phenom who's never taken a snap in a real game that was supposed to start by years end in Citizen LOL)

Stop. Sometimes I wish the board knew what they were talking about. The day he got hurt, he was moved to the first team. The last full contact series he was the ONLY back tearing up the defense and his last run was a TD for over 50 yards. He is a beast and he’s had bad luck. He wasn’t an Army All American by accident. Imagine a healthy Don behind a “decent” OL. This board is consistent. They **** on everyone, until they’re gone. When he comes back healthy, please be sure to tag me in a post and tell me how terrible he looks.
Finally someone who sees what I see in The Don.

That is his biggest knock. Zero contact balance. For him to not have broken multiple 60+ yard "explosive" TD plays so far in his career when he absolutely has the ability to is telling. His HS highlights show a different RB.

That said, lets all calm down. He is only in his 2nd year and has ALOT more wear and tear on him then he should right now. He had to basically carry the load by himself last year weighing 180lbs because Chaney cant stay healthy. Thank god for Parrish... or Rooster would have had to do the same thing this year AGAIN.

Lets be frank, Chaney has let him down here. He wasnt supposed to be a workhouse style RB. Thats not his game. That was Chaney's job.

Thats the issue we all have with Chaney. We all know we need him. But he never seems to come through because hes always injured. You guys give him passes that you would never give anyone else. Chaney was a 5* RB. Nobody is questioning his talent. But when cats have to pop in his HS highlights to remind themselves of what he has capable of because they havent seen it yet in O&G, then thats a problem. Cant live off hype forever. Now we are about to go into Year 3 and still waiting to see the real Don Chaney. (if rumors are true that even if he comes back by the FSU game, he still wont be at 100% full strength)

If that's true they need to shut him down. Kid needs to get healthy.

To that last part I think its the FSU game which is his earliest possible date of a return within the overall timetable but not sure there's enough evidence to suggest if he played in that game he wouldn't be truly healthy/cleared. If we're lucky we get Don & X both back for that game 🙏.

You ignore the fact that they continually used him like a power back, running him right up the middle over and over.

Glad to see these guys back. Parrish in particular has played his *** off. He and X. Prayers 🙏🏾 for X to return sooner than later and for Zion to be 100% or close to it before he's a go.

Cribby said late in the year if at all. I mean of course I’d love to see him back but he hasn’t been healthy for 2 years.
Exactly he just needs a medical and call it a career. If you can't stay healthy in 3 years of college ball it is a sign.

I feel so bad for him only played in a handful of games in 3 years total, he might need to call it a career or do what Jaelen Phillips did just take a year off and live in a weight room get his body right in the best shape of his life

GT , maybe FSU at the earliest. Him and X is late in the year if at all.
It would be good to have Chaney back as soon as possible, but X is a must. He's our most dependable WR and TVD's security blanket. Him going down has hurt us moreso than losing Zion or Chaney.
