Dude has always been my favorite cane. They called that boy "Sweet Feet" back in high school and college. Size, speed, quickness, and vision like no other.
Like so many of our "bad boy" Canes, he is a really good guy. We didn't have angels but they were not the thugs they like to portray themselves to be. Not saying some were not bad boys.
This is a wonderful article about Edge...loved watching that dude run. The article is over 3 years old, and I remember reading it the first time but even so nice to read positive articles about former players making a difference in their community.
My favorite Cane of all time by far. Watched almost every carry of his in the NFL. Met him a few times too and he is simply just a great person and athlete. I remember reading this article a few years ago. I wish more people knew about this story.
REALLY glad about that part. Looks like he was smart with his money. Good for him. Living in Orlando/Naples and not in Mia/FtLaud helps im sure. (cost of living. Buddy has 6 kids. lol)
Great article to read and great to see he is still around the program. Isnt his nephew a 2017 commitment? A safety?
