He can win a national championship. On paper next year they will have a shot. Team will actually be very dangerous in the tournament this year if they get there, and they should. Very deep and talented at the 1-3 spots. Will have good size and depth at the 4-5 spots next year as well, when Murphy can play alongside Jekiri, Uceda, and Sherman. When you add the coach, Canes are more likely to win the number 6 in hoops.

No doubt…the squad next year will have even more experience and continuity playing together for another season/ offseason. Skys the limit IMO, should be major players in ACC ball next year. I'm not counting us out this year either, crazy things happen when teams get streaky and this team could get very streaky come ACC tournament time

This might be moved to the bball thread, but everyone should read it. Coach L is truely a great example of someone to look up to and he's an even better man. PROUD to call him my university's head basketball coach. always a class act

I do believe that Coach L was divinely sent here, at this stressful time, to serve as a contrast to Corches Groldie & Dorito.

develops players vs wastes player talent
unaffected by "clouds" vs is a walking cloud
delivers real results vs delivers excuse, after excuse, after excuse
adapts to players, competition, circumstances vs rigid, adapts to nothing
