"Gray Crow > Paxton Lynch" - Al Golden in 2012

I don't think most UM fans give a **** about UCF missing on Lynch. We are supposed to be much better than UCF, and UCF missing on Lynch does nothing to change the fact that Lynch was at several Folden camps, desperately wanted a UM offer, but Folden chose a universally renowned bum Crow over him.

Does it really matter, though? If we had Lynch, we would still have idiots running the show and the guy at Memphis would be winning with whatever QB was next on his list.

We'd still suck. But anything that further illustrates Folden's incompetence is fun for me.

Don't forget they went after Jake Ruddock also.
Pre-Coley, this staff had a thing with small handed QBs, who throw a football like it's a phuckin' medicine ball.
Re-watching Lynch's clips at the Miami NFTC, it just dawned on me that He jumped out to me the 1st time I watched em', I thought He was offered up.
Several physical traits that He has, and that I like in a QB, are long arms & big hands...and although He has a bit of a wind-up, He throws the ball with ease...Lawson had those traits also.
For all the flack Coley catches, the guy's practically saved the QB position at UM.

Thurston Armbrister, Courtel Jenkins, Nick Linder, Herb Waters, Ladarius Gunter, Clive Walford were all 3 star and below kids recruited by Golden that have had decent careers so far or have made it to the NFL.... Golden is a great Recruiter, just needs to translate on the field

Where do you people come from?
raised in Miami..what about yourself??

Amazing, and you still think Golden is a "great recruiter"?

You either are #Canesfam or I'm not sure what else. Golden is an average recruiter at best, personally I think he is pretty awful.

Lol at Deebro305 trying to pull ish out of thin air to make Golden appear as a talent evaluator and recruiter.

First, Nick Linder was NOT a find. His F'N BROTHER PLAYED ON THE TEAM, OF COURSE HE WAS GOING TO BE A CANE REGARDLESS!!!

Swear Armbrister was a last sec replacement as Golden had just got here in 2011 and was trying to hold the class together that collapsed after Randy left.

Jenkins was a solid pick up, I'll give him that.

Gunter was grossly misused while he was here, hence he went as an undrafted free-agent.

Walford was recruited by Shannon.

Stop trying to make it seem like Golden has done some magic around here. He sucks, on the field and off of it. Fact.

He was definitely better than Shannon at recruiting..i mean both sucked as Gameday coaches..but lets not act like he didnt pull a few kids in... my beef with him n alot in the community is he went out of state too much for kids then focusing here more.... i can understand certain positions out of state like OL and QB.... but no way in **** should he leave go get RBs, WRs, LBs, DBs or DL

Its just funny how alot of you are Bi**ching and moaning about UM not offering him when nobody knew who he was until this year...lol... No One can pull up a past post stating Miami should look at him as a possible UM recruit.... the one QB i hoped we had landed im a lil ****ed about was Teddy Bridgewater...

You're one-upping yourself with each post in this thread, Robert From Waterloo.

Doesn't matter if we didn't know who He was until this year, the staff knew in 2012, they phucked up, they didn't offer.
Him at 1:55...like I said in my previous post, He jumped out to me the 1st time I saw em' in this video:

Butch Davis would have identified this kid when he was in the 5th grade.

******* idiots around here........

Funny how people think that with all these camps and the internet kids can't fall through the cracks.

Golden and staff tried to play to the Miami community by giving some ships away at these camps as a reason to come. It is just bad how they picked the wrong kids every time to give a ship to. Head scratchers all of them. Like they were not use to looking at top level talent because the were never going to get them at Temple.

Every other school missed on Lynch also............

Yeah but was he at their camps ? Right in front of their face

This. Sometimes you just gotta trust the eyeball test. It's not like we were so loaded at QB that we couldn't take a chance on a guy with so much promise. And it's not like Gray Crow was heads and shoulders above anyone.

Lynch would be worse then Crow after being coached at Miami.

You guys forget that Shannon offered Crow his last year here. He was a Junior I believe, Golden came in and kept the promise to let him enroll on a scholarship.. Good guys finish last.

Saw a graphic on Lynch's HS career. Threw for 1,051 yards in his 4 years. 10 Touchdowns. 10 Interceptions.
