He had ELITE quickness, vision and shiftiness and heart. Buddy got to full speed in seconds! But his problem was that his top end speed wasn’t very fast. Then the ACL just ruined him

It was clear that he lost his lateral quickness and ability to change direction after the ACL. Such a shame.

What a burst. Like he was shot out of a cannon

Top end was ok, but not great...I thought his weakness was patience/vision, but man that burst was right up there with any back at UM. Excellent hands too.

Vs P5 Teams:

Cooper ran for 4+ ypc more times as a Freshman (7 out of 9 games) than Mark Walton did his entire career (6 out of 22 games)
Cooper ran for 5+ ypc more times as a Freshman (6) than Mark Walton did his entire career (4)
Cooper ran for 6+ ypc the same amount of times (3) than Mark Walton did his entire career (3)
Cooper ran for 7+ ypc more times as a Freshman (3) than Mark Walton did his entire career (1)

Cooper averaged 5.2 ypc vs P5 teams in his career vs Walton's 3.8 ypc

Think about that
