We are in the last semester for seniors. Options are slimming or tightening down or up depending on your perspective. Food for thought with grades, I teach! I teach in a district where a 70 is a C. An 80 is a B. A 90 is an A. Less than 70 is failing. Im not sure what clearinghouse or universities do now, but a kid could conceivably have a 70 in math all four year of high school and think they have a 2.0 in math, per se . . . only to find they have a 1.0, D average.

Keep that in mind as you begin reading about grades and such.

Sorry for beating a dead horse with this question but SERIOUSLY, why is it so hard for these kids to get into our beloved U but they can get into USC, LSU, BAMA, OHST ? Bama and LSU obviously have their own rules that they go by, is it that Miami refuses to lower standards for athletes like most other big time schools?

The reason I believe this is the case is the university doesnt believe some of the kids will be able to stay eligible as there arent as many football friendly programs leading to degrees wink wink.
