Line sucks so we have little choice but this is one position that really needs to operate as a unit. Popping some else’s guy in for a year is kind of like inviting the neighbor’s kid over for dinner and pretending he is your own to impress a visitor. Kid goes home in couple hours and you are still stuck with the sucka$$ kids your raised.

We need to pay up, steal a real oline coach from one of the historic oline factories like those frigging cheese people and start growing our own. Or, start running offenses where the kids we do grow can play in.

Some more articles on Proctor--was the starter until a knee injury. Was a three star kid out of HS but was developed by their OL-coach and strength program.

He was developed properly---was their strongest guy as be benched 225 pounds 37 reps in testing....that is top NFL level.
Strength coach there was good.
