I’m guessing I’m older than most here and have been a Miami fan since attending my first game in ‘79, so I’ve seen the best of times and over the last 20 years figured we’d never be able to make a serious run and become dominant again.
What’s happened in the last 48 hours is nothing short of stunning.
I really hope all you young folks get to experience 1/5th of what it was like.

//cool story bro!

Yea, lots of people, myself included have been repping this U for 30+ years.

Its a shame and sad what has happened over the last 15+ years. I made my wife a Canes fan some 14 years ago, my brother in law started going to games in 2016 and became a season tix holder in 2018...they have no clue other than YouTube videos about what Miami once was, aside of 2017.

I told them all...Get Ready! You are gonna see the real Joy, Excitement and Passion for Canes Football like you've never seen before, and it almost brings a tear to my eye 👁. What has happened in the last 48 hours, or since @Cribby Da Gawww gave us all hope for back in October/November has been nothing short of Amazing.

Please send Kirk Herbstreit, Dez and the Bear a Christmas Card.

Let's Go Canes!!!

Ive been a fan and followed every aspect of the program so closely that you’d think I had a microscope for 30 years now, and this is by far the most excited I’ve been since 2002. It’s almost hard for me to comprehend, I really convinced myself that Miami would never commit to athletics.

I’m an Old Fart as well, my Freshman year it UM was 1966 and I went to all the games at the old Orange Bowl every year I was there, and attended three of our Nat Championship games. Without doubt, the energy, the excitement, the desire to win is the best I have seen since we were robbed of a sixth Nat Championship in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. And for the first time since that Fiesta Bowl robbery, we can legitimately feel that this time, after a long time, it’s real and the program is on a mission to return to the top. Canes are coming back. Mark it down.

Thank you. I feel you man. I still have my Rose Bowl NC tickets from 2001 and still remember the drive to the stadium every time I see Pasadena exit sign on CA highways.

I caught on, from Jersey in 1988, and I'll tell you this is the closest that I've felt in a long time that we are back in business.

and the feeling that @QuattroCane said "I really hope all you young folks get to experience 1/5th of what it was like."

Honestly, that's no lie!

Go Canes!!!
Where in Jersey?

I’m 25, was born and raised in Michigan. I have no ties to the program other than always loving it when I was young. I really have no idea why, because they were never that good. Miami was my dream school and all I want to do is see a ******* winner. I travel to a couple games per year, seems like the almost always lose. Can we just be good, please? 😂
