I never wrote him off, never wrote Moten off and will not write McCoy or Rodriguez off either. The talent was always there, they just needed to develop more. Precious few players are built like Francis Mauigoa or Reuben Bain. Nearly all of the top linemen have full beards.

I mean where was he going to go? He had a top tier NIL and wasn’t exactly producing in line with it. He wasn’t going to get paid more anywhere else. Im optimistic he leaves here a high draft pick and an impact player next year

None of those guys made in all the years combined what Samson made in 1 year. I said Samson stuck around because no one was going to pay him what he was getting from us. Even if someone else was offering a starting job it was highly doubtful it would pay what he got here. He was a highly ranked OT and NIL recruitment and we were the highest bid.
