All American voters not dominated by tobacco road bias
But don't forget, Philips isn't good enough to be first team All ACC.

Acc media proves its bias again.

going to be tough to move on from Patke with two all American specialists. Not saying he deserves any real credit for it, but optics wise i would think it would be tough.
And don't forget, Frierson one of our best defensive players. And Keontra played solid too.

Signed Chase Smith and Andres Borregales at his positions too.

Honestly speaking, judging off this season,, Patke does not deserve to be fired.

Patke the only assistant on defense I heard praise coming from Diaz.

But the board despises him. Why? I agree he shouldn’t have gotten the job in the first place, but now that he’s here, is his presence really what’s holding the program back from taking the next step? The special teams were very good this year. The strikers were certainly not a weakness. Could he be replaced with a more experienced coach? Of course. But how many stud coaches you think are lining up to come here and coach specialists and 3 kids on defense? We had 1 FG blocked, 0 punts, had 1 kick returned for a TD, punt coverage was excellent all year, his 2 kids are all-Americans (it’s surely their talent that deserves most of that credit, but you still have to keep kids sharp and locked in). I just don’t see the “If we can get rid of Patke, we’ll turn a corner” school of thought. I don’t know the guy personally, maybe he’s pretty sharp and the kids play hard for him.

This was one of my favorite moments from the season. When he jogged out there I was actually able to leave my tv because I knew that **** was cash money. A year before I was on my living room floor praying to God for a make
Gawt lee lol, I closed my eyes and crossed my fingers every time we attempted a kick.

Bro, Baxa was a legit 50% kicker. To go from that to Jose, a 1st team AA, Lou Groza finalist...I hope Jose kills it in the league for 15 years and makes Millions.

How the f[]ck is Louie Louie 2d team?
Voters probably respect the tats.

I know him and he is pretty sharp and I think he could be a great coach one day. His guys love him and he’s far from a issue. I do realize he isn’t irreplaceable but **** he’s far from a dud. I’d argue he’s a better COACH than a few of the assistant coaches we’ve had from past staffs that people in here loved. I’m not really sure how good of a recruiter he is considering he’s from Houston and doesn’t use his Houston resources. **** he’s from the old money in Texas. His family is in oil and gas 😭 we got a dude with money behind his name who won’t use his plugs

To be fair, the two Pitt ends are also first and second-team all American. Doesn't really seem like bias, just good DEs in the conference.
