Are the the players accountable for anything?

Folks can't be beating their chests about these guys getting paid for their performance and then absolve them of all wrongdoing when they do stupid ****.

FOH. These coaches suck at putting guys in position to be effective, but I'm not rolling with procedural penalties being on the coaches.

Players are held accountable. But we see the players doing the same bone-headed crap every week. When do they learn? That's on the coaches. The coaches should've lit Moten up as soon as he got to the sideline. I doubt that happened. I see the offensive line with at least 3 false start penalties, yet I don't see any corrections being made. Our players are definitely held accountable, but at what point do our coaches actually discipline them instead of calling them out in the media?

I'm all about celebration penalties and borderline late hits. Cfb should be fun, to watch and play.

Problem is were 4-2, not 6-0.

When you're 4-2 and pretty much out of the conference race you can't say **** like, "the captains need to fix their ****."

I agree with you partially. At this point, I want to see my team win and be competitive. Yeah, I don't mind celebration penalties (in moderation) as it means we're kicking *** (most of the time). It's the undisciplined **** like our offensive line that gets me when it happens continuously. ****, the commentators for this game were pointing it out constantly. Same ol' **** different day with this team. The slurpers are beating their chest about this win. I'm happy we beat the Hokies, I hate Golden, but cot **** I can't stand Va Tech. We left a **** ton of points on the field. This game should've been over by the end of the 3rd. Instead we needed a late Artie Burns pick to seal the game.

Ya'll ever watch Trickett's O-Lines at FSU, where they're completely frozen when the other team jumps offsides...that's discipline. You see how He pushed Gholson away for tryin' to jump in His huddle...Coley doesn't pull that $h!t with Trickett, that He pulled with Kehoe today.

You know what? These fugue players have been getting a pass here for YEARS! They need to learn the snap count! They need to learn how to not hit the **** qb when the ball is gone. Those are terrible plays. The coaches need to start benching guys.

Exactly Frosty...these clowns don't even take guys out of the game after they Fluck up. I would have them on the sideline giving them a what for in their face. This coaching staff is charmin soft, thats why these penalties happen every week.

Ultimately, yes...discipline falls back on the coach...but when IS it the players fault if tackling the QB five seconds after he releases it isn't on the players?

We have enough talent to overcome an occasional late hit call or taunting call. Big deal. However if your going to nail QB late make it ******* count! Get your money's worth and knock his *** out! We use to put fear in the opposing QB's. Play with a chip on your shoulder. Make that QB throw it a count early or make WR pull up going over middle. Like those targeting calls in nebraska game. Don't be sorry bout it. Knock their *** out take a seat and bring in Johnson. Being out a half for Cincy game if we had a coach would be inconsequential. We have terrible depth. We play so conservative that a false start or def holding call can't be overcome. Kaaya attempted like 7 passes in 2nd half or something rediculous like that. All our penalties are magnified by atrocious coaching.

After five years of false starts, it is the coaches fault. Well coached teams do not get lots of penalties over and over again. Maybe aggressive defensive ones involving hitting. Those can have positive impacts too. But holding, false starts, and delay of game that happen frequently are in fact a coaching problem.

WOULD YOU ALL STOP!! I heard Coach Golden say this on the radio during the post game show driving home from the game. She didn't state the entire conversation. Golden stated the coaches have gone over the penalty problem over and over with the team. It is time the players be accountable. As a high school teacher and former coach, I know EXACTLY what he means. Ed Reed and company great examples of players taking care of penalties/mistakes when players kept making same mistakes. Please stop with this misinformation. AND NO, I AM NOT MRS. GOLDEN OR ANY MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY!!!

Agree with you regarding kids need to step up, however, the coach needs to discipline the players and our dumb *** coached leave the player in the game, they need to sit them down for a few plays, send the team a message as this won't be tolerated. But our 3 stooges do absolutely nothing.
