Gordinier out for the year

The issue is depth... It's not like we need to panic because Jamie wasn't a starter, but the problem is that we don't want to overwork our young Freshman LB corp.

Owens, McCray & Chuck Perry gotta step up big time... Plus, didn't we have a walk-on LB by the name of Washington from earlier this year?

our freshmen are gonna be veterans by mid season.

if they wanted playing time.....they came to the right place.

Not good at all. Staff gonna have to get creative and the freshman NEED to step up in a major way.

Vandarius Cowens should comne here and be in the rotation next year, but we need help now.

Owens should be back by the middle of the season so that helps. And Mike smith played well and I hope charles Perry can be decent. With Owens coming back in the middle of the season. Again not ideal but it is what it is

We're not out of the woods yet with either Smith or Perry. I didn't see anything last night that changed the overall view that they're questionable talents. McCray is even less promising. None has looked Miami caliber so far.

How bout moving Trent Harris to OLB??? He played a few snaps there last year in certain games...

Problem with recruiting LB's when you have 3 Frosh starters is it kinda makes it so they gotta be elite or else they won't be getting too much PT next year cause Shaq, Pinkney, and McCloud are gonna have these spots locked down next year.

No worries
He hasn't done anything at Miami
Next man up
Time for the freshman to shine

Seriously get back 100% Jamie!

What are you, some kind of idiot. Really 'no worries'.. I hope you blow out your knee and post it on this board. Have a post ready for you...

If it was me either im going beat some body out or at least get in the games early . 3 freshman lbs says a lot about are sophomore and juniors.

Did they have McCray playing LB vs FAMU? Maybe at least a serviceable option behind Perry and Smith. LBs around the league are getting bigger and bigger anyways. Not calling for him to be the first or even second backup but I think we need Carter in the secondary. Plus if we move Carter we basically create the same problem at safety. Not like we have a ton of depth there either.

Again, why are we only recruiting 2 LB's for 2017 class? Need one more.
