Gordinier Out for the Season

Keep him on a 'ship this year and move on from him next year..Saban, Meyer, Dumbo all would.

My heart breaks for the kid, bad knees are death for any athlete. If I'm Richt I'm asking the kid to hang up his cleats. Pay for his rehab, pay for his education, but it's time to call it quits (hard as it may be)

I think we have to be better than that. He gave bother his knees for the team, even if it was pre season both times.

Umm find another Type scholarship Pretty sure that's what he means or he will transfer if he feels he still has it . Two knee issues most likely with the talent coming in he will not see the field again.

I agree he's probably not going to see any action here, just don't want to see a kid get stuck without some sort if funding to finish school here. Makes sense to move him to a non athletic scholarship if that's possible.
 
Sucks man. I was looking for him to contribute this year. Praying for a complete recovery. Hope he's able to stick with it.

Isn't there a process to convert his scholarship in such a way that he he keeps his financial aid but does not count as a football scholarship?
 
Will some ******* doctor just figure out a better surgery for this ligament tear? The surgery fails way too much and recovery is way too long.

Yep. He can be put on a medical scholarship, like Gayot was.

Not sure why everyone is clamoring for this at this point. Sure he faces a tough road, but Patchan did too and he made it back. Sean Spence also made it back from a horrible injury with nerve damage.

Just too soon to know what his recovery prospects will look like
