I know this isn’t a Gophers website and I know they actually do have one - but I don’t have time for 2 websites and ultimately I am a bigger canes fan but locally I go to several gophers games with the fam.

1.) MN has had a huge transfer portal year on the OL after losing 2 guys on the OL to the draft. Right now their C is ESPN pre season all American and they pulled a guy from Michigan and another originally from MN (a 5* from Notre Dame)

2.) MN RB’s may be the best in the country. Mo Ibrahim rushed for over 1000 yards 2 years ago and then tore his Achilles in game 1 of last year and Potts picked up the slack. Mo has 2TD’s and 60 yards plus in the first quarter.

3.) PJ hired the former OC back after he left for Penn State. The QB has been a starter for several seasons and flourished under this OC’s offense.

4.) Gophers do not play Ohio St or Michigan this year.

I have never been a huge fan of PJ and his row the boat crap. Or his facelift. He is clearly a narcissist. But the fact is that he has improved the Gophers significantly since I have had season tix at the end of the Brewster days when Brewster basically drove the program into the ground.

If the gophers had a QB with a shred of footwork or arm strength they would win the west likely with ease.

Mo has heisman capable talent if he played for a bigger brand team. They absolutely have one of the deepest backfields in the entire country

They’re a really good football team and will DEFINITELY have a great season. I don’t gamble anymore, but if I did, I’d be all over them this season.
