Nothing great about this team but Toney
There were some real tendency-breakers in the second half. One that stuck out was play-action out of the 21-set on a short yardage down. I also appreciated the goal-line run where SJ went wide as if they were running outside and Fletcher just gutted them up the middle for a TD.1st half was brutal and was definitely a carry over from loserville
2nd half we started attacking the edges and shockingly to Dawson and Mario it softened up the middle and the run game started powering.
Great win hope they keep that juju rolling into SMU because Lashlee is gonna open the entire playbook to steal a winn
7-7 at halftime vs one of the worst defenses in CFB is not what I would call a complete game.Best the team has looked all year. First Complete four quarter game since USF.
For sure.Deven Hester was as good,,don't forget Santana Moss..
Agreed. The late motion with fletch on 3rd and long when the Stanford defense thought another A gap bullly ball run was coming and they had no clue how to pivot once he left and it was a pitch and catch 1st down thrown was a nice wrinkle. There were some real tendency-breakers in the second half. Complete means entire team.7-7 at halftime vs one of the worst defenses in CFB is not what I would call a complete game.
Thankfully we sacked up and adjusted after the half
WTF does the offense disappearing for 2 quarters mean for entire team? Still disagree.Complete means entire team.
Do you call that first half a winBest the team has looked all year. First Complete four quarter game since USF.
Chat GPT says Oregon -6.5 on a neutral field. If the game was tomorrowWould you favor Miami over oregon right now on a neutral field????
That's not what I asked lol. I asked would you favor us over them and the answer is no. You probably.wouldnt favor us against any top 15 team currently. The offense isn't explosive at all. The defense is solid but the defense can only do so much.It would be real close

I appreciate your honesty. This offense is holding the team back.Oregon -6.5 on a neutral field
2001 miami hurricanes*We play like Ohio State when it starts raining
To be specific, it's the offensive play-calling that is holding the offense back. The offense could produce better results with better play callingI appreciate your honesty. This offense is holding the team back.

Well our offense is just not good, or we get figured out relatively easyLazy message board take. Every fan base in America thinks "play calling" is an issue on their team.
That kid play like he's a grown *** man. Love it.Nah Toney called everyone a ***** and they woke up
Non existent?First half was atrocious. The first drive was good but then a pre-snap penalty moved us back and we had to attempt FG (miss). Then the offense was non-existent until the final drive of half.
Second half offense was a lot, lot better. Reverses, outside runs, pulling OL, Beck was sharp, and OL started to lean forward.
Of course our defense is championship quality good.
