you have been one of the critical voices of the staff, team, administration from the get go. I have felt from the most part you have been negative but your ability to use constructive criticism is spot on and consider you a cane fan who is tired of seeing the same old movie. Why I have never gone after you.

Why I call out some negative posters around here is because they wouldn't know constructive criticism if it walked up and hit them. The bull**** they spew is not laced with any type of analysis, anguish, or disappointment like dwinstitles who has gotten a bad rep, rather they take pleasure and actually want the canes to lose, see What The ****, Saviorcane, and Loungelord as prime examples. This board is inundated with these types, and I will attack them all ******* day.

Football is all about matchups. We've got talent in some areas that is better than the players they will face. But we have an untalented OL who will go against more talented DLs man for man. And we will lose those one-on-one matchups. That makes the margin for error even lower for the other position groups. And we aren't winning all of those matchups either.
 
You are correct OP.

We are about to strike fear in the rest of the ACC. Too much talent. These boys are ****ed off! 10-2 on the way

Honestly, I'm not a negative person. I'm not negative in my personal life at all. I'm not negative with my kids....ever. What I am is a REALIST.

Reality dictates that when an organization doesn't give a FLYING F about something, that something is going to underperform. If the board of directors of a manufacturing company is made up of a bunch of people that don't know the first thing about business, or even specifically....manufacturing , there is a large probability that business results will suffer.

And that's ALL I'VE BEEN SAYING for the last 20 years. It was clear to me, back then, that the administration didn't have a clue about how to run a successful football program. They make lazy hires, they PREMATURELY EXTEND those lazy hires....and then they take too long to fire those lazy hires. It's a circular cluster ***** that resets every 5 years.

Take the latest instance...they get the ULTIMATE get out of jail free card. They get something that EVERY football program in America that's struggling and hired a bad coaching staff WISHES they could get. They get a good person who WALKS AWAY FROM MONEY and doesn't hold them hostage on the buyout. You know what they parlay that into? A 19 second nationwide "search" that yields an in house promotion from said failed staff. Yeah.....tremendous stuff. Go back and check my posts , on this board, the night it was announced Manny was going to get the job. I lost my f'ing mind and wasn't happy. It wasn't anything against Manny personally...I really wanted him to do well. The problem is the PROCESS. The problem is the people making the decisions. Manny is a symptom, not the disease.

So I say all that to say this. I'm not a rocket scientist or anything above average intelligence....I'm just ******* REALIST and I apply common sense to every situation in life. There is something broken here that transcends offensive coordinators, offensive linemen, and even head coaches.....It starts with an apathetic and incompetent BOT and is closely followed by an underqualifed Athletic director.

So here's the reality of our situation, there's nothing we as fans can do about the board. They are always going to be incompetent and barely give a *****. What we can/should do and focus on is getting Blake James the **** out of here and try to get the school to hire an AD who is a football mind who knows what he's doing. You start there....and let the dominoes hopefully starting falling forward.

You'll notice. New-ish screen names that come and go and have the full rolodex of Don Bailey Jr rebuttals and excuses ready to go. They are mindless phucks that infest this fanbase. I have zero respect for anyone that accepts the mediocrity, incompetence, and apathy we've witnessed around here for 2 decades.

I'm still here. We suck, but I still care. Anyone that criticizes someone like me who is simply stating the obvious should go play in traffic blindfolded, after taking a couple tequila shots.

You can say we "could have lost" but I don't agree with the mentality that we "deserved to lose". We deserved the win because the score board says we played better than our opponent. Don't marginalize Langham's effort for those two incredible catches. Take your lumps when you get them.

We’ve played 4 poor games. Verse Florida we had lots of mistakes, verse NC we looked like dog crap the whole first half, verse Bethune we looked like dog crap the first half and CMU we just looked like crap.

To me that is consistently looking like crap.

Even in 2017 it was a good year but we easily could have been 7-6 if it wasn’t for a few lucky breaks.

We played like a 8-5 team not 10-3 and at the end of the season we got exposed
