Happy to see. Ran track with his father and aunt back in the high school days.
Absolutely love it.
Or...I don't know what he needs a scope for - those Capes are huge! In fact - I'd only want iron sights - for faster, accurate follow-on shots.
Those things are tougher than a two-dollar steak.
And while I can't see the barrel nor bore - that rifle doesn't look like the minimum I'd require for a Cape Buffalo - which would be a .416 Rigby/Ruger.
(And Coastal Brown Bear and Tiger, and Hippo. And Lion . . .)
And where was his guide? With his backup rifle?
Plan B comes in mighty handy when Plan A goes to ****.
That wasn’t the case in this situation. In some instances money from hunting provides the money needed to preserve wild places and the people who protect the wildlife. Sounds counter intwoative but it true.
Or...
He could’ve just not ever went to another continent to hunt a Cape Buffalo that wasn't bothering him nor poses any threat to his or anyone else's well-being whatsoever, all for the sake of "Sport".
But thank God he did & he got exactly what he deserved.
Word sun! U nailed dat like a split hawg!In some instances money from hunting provides the money needed to preserve wild places and the people who protect the wildlife. Sounds counter intwoative but it true.
**** yeah them wuz the daysTalkin bout split hawgs takez me byck tu our ol hawg huntin daze. Gud times.
Absolutely love it.
That guy wasn't an ethical hunter.I don’t like rich people going to Africa to kill Lions, Elephants, Leopards or Rhinos but the Cape Buffalo is one of the meanest, most dangerous hunts in Africa.
They are not endangered and these safaris pay for African game wardens to protect elephants and rhinos from poachers, who are not rich foreigners, but scum of the earth natives that kill these animals purely for their horns or tusks for mainly the Asian black market and leave the meat to the vultures.
Whether you like hunting or not, in the US and Africa, ethical hunters pay more towards conservation than any other groups.
How do you know he wasn’t an ethical hunter? Did he have a license? a licensed guide? If so, how was he not ethical? That guy wasn't an ethical hunter.
He was a sh*t bag rich guy who was hunting for his own ego & got exactly what he was looking for.
Fuxk him.
I don't have sympathy for someone who gets killed by the animal he was hunting. He knew the risk before he step foot on the plane & he understood that he could be killed, but he went anyway. How do you know he wasn’t an ethical hunter? Did he have a license? a licensed guide? If so, how was he not ethical?
If this was an Elephant or Rhino which are endangered, or if he was hunting illegally, I’m right there with you.
There is no one more anti-poacher than me. I’ve put my life on the line to chase poachers out of my community.
There is no difference between a Cape Buffalo and a Bull cow. One’s just 10 times meaner.
