Wanted to come back and say good game. I see most Miami fans are saying GTFO and still that LSU isn't good that Miami self imploded on themselves, but I said win or lose I would be back to discuss the game.

Greedy/Jackson practically shut down Giles/Richards. Both only caught one ball for nine yards. Willis killed our OL the entire game, but that's to be expected by a veteran that is that hyped.

I think Burrow is better than what we saw today. Miami has a stout defense. He didn't make many mistakes and had some smart throw aways. He managed the game well.

Brossette had a coming out party tonight. A lot of Miami fans hated on him and laughed on him pre-game. I knew Brossette is a better spread offense RB, but not a strong between the tackle runner like we've seen at LSU with Hill, Fournette, and Guice over the year. I'm also excited to see our young LB's stepping up the rest of the year like Phillips(#6).

Both teams kinda racked up the injuries late in the game. Hopefully both teams get back to 100% and nothing too serious happened. Somewhat concerned that Chaisson(LB #4) tore his ACL.

Hopefully we can build on this win. Tweak some mistakes. And get ready to play at Auburn week 3. I still see yall winning your division of the ACC. The SEC West is still going to be tough with Auburn and Alabama.

Good luck the rest of the season and Geaux Tigers!

GG

Your secondary and offense are still suspect imo. There were a lot of plays tonight a decent QB would have converted.

Very impressive players on the DL and at LB though

To be honest that long TD was a blunder by our DC playing favorites. The safety in the game at the time have no business being on a Miami defense. Your guy ran right by him which isn't hard to do.

Classy post Tiger, just ignore these sore losers. We're just hurt because you guys exposed the problems on our team that we were hoping had been fixed, but are still here. Anyway, you were/are way classier than some other LSU fans that have been on here and even though I think you'll more than likely drop 3 regular season games, I would love it if you could have a stellar season and beat BAMA and AUB. Anyway, nice post and good luck.

“Miami has a stout defense”

No we don’t.

Thanks ******! Excellent analysis of our two butholecramming coarches! They both definitely cram those holes and make lots of money in short bursts blah blah blah. You guys definitely blah blah blah puckerstarstuffers for coaches blah blah blah Ed Orgeron will be fired by blah blah and Richt is a blah blah blah.

I think week 3 at Auburn is now the pivotal point for our season. If we can go to Auburn and get a win we could be undefeated heading into the Alabama game like some places predicted. Auburn is a tough place to play at. LSU is coming off a big win vs Miami, but Auburn is also coming off a big win vs Washington.

Good luck to you and the classy posters the rest of the way. The majority of Miami fans have been... an experience to say the least.

good post. Your cb opposite Williams isnt good at all...dude was a PI to be called all game. Safety play was pretty good tonight for you guys. Phillips is a stud....#40 is a bit overrated.

Philips is gonna be a stud. He was the #1 ILB of his class I had been telling y’all about. Hopefully Chassion is okay.

I think this is the first season the pressure is off of White to not make the plays. This is the first year we really are deep at LB. Chavis really screwed us years ago when it came to recruiting and developing LBs, but Aranda has finally fixed that problem.

Fulton had some good plays and bad plays, but that’s too be expected by a guy making really his first start. I like what I saw from all of our DBs for the most part. Outside of 4-5 long passed they did well most the night.

I remember Greedy and Battle getting hurt twice through the game. Glad to see both return.

Up 33-3 in the 4th quarter, Orgeron’s plan was to win by a fg by recovering an onside kick with 40 seconds left.

Nothing beating Bama.

Good post Tiger.

Both teams looked solid and wanted to play.

You might have something with that transfer QB. Huge checkdown. Nice job.

Miami got out schemed and some of out desired. We we're not slow, or lack of motivation.

What we did was Over pursuing on a bad rush. Being pushed by both your lines, yet continue to run draw up the middle. Jeezuz we looked like Georgia under Richt..

I could go on.

Tigers were better period.

Richt simply has not figured out yet. ...

Miami Football is speed to the Wr's. Run second.

Defense.. 2 solid lineman, lb's just nasty, covers line and midfield.

The bottom line. Tigers were much better prepared. Score could have been 45 -10 or less.

We played like shlt and lost. LSU played with more effort and because of that were able to take advantage of the opportunities that were presented.

I have nothing bad to say about LSU. I’m disgusted with the lack of effort and discipline that Miami showed. I saw guys giving up on multiple plays, after they had ran themselves out of the play for lack of discipline.

Our o-line was terrible. I didn’t expect them to be dominant, and they weren’t dominated physically by LSU. They simply looked like they didn’t know what they were doing out there, and that’s probably the most disappointing thing with all the time they had to prepare. Too many defenders were allowed to come through clean, and we have guys standing around looking for someone to block. Personally, I find it a little better to stomach if a guy is out matched and just gets beat, over a player who lets a guy come free because he’s out of position and doesn’t have a clue who his blocking assignment is.

who the **** is giles?

your db's were getting torched, go re-watch the game

just no one to throw the ball that's worth a ****

can we borrow your 5th string walk on punter?

Nothing but respect for ya @Loose Cannon

Glad to see you come back. It’s been fun discussing the game the past few weeks with some of y’all.

When it comes to LB’s coming free that’s the scheme Aranda has in place. The DL eats the blocks and the LBs read holes and hit holes. They almost come off as a delayed blitz.

Good luck the rest of the season.
