Good Class so far

Offensively we are NOT good. We haven';t been good offensively against winning teams in four years under Golden. We have no RBs for next year (pending NSD) ONE QB who is prematurly proclaimed the next Hiesman winner (just like BB, KW, Jacort and Morris), losing Dorsett means we have lost the only elite reciever we have, and we are losing the best of our inconsistant OL.

We lost our top WR last year too along with 2 NFL starters on our OL and our offense was fine this year. Inconsistent but not worse than last year.

Lulz @ this being a good class so far.

It's fuggin terrible up to this point.

It's ridiculous. If a kid is special. ...count us out of the running even if he is from Miami and parents went to Miami. Phuxking fat sloppy Golden. Wake up idiots. It was the same thing Shannon was doing, bringing Kelvin Cain and Jimmy Gaines of the world....Fine.....if you are Duke. Those players will never play on a championship team and we don't have coaching to mask talent gaps. But they keep holding out hope. The kids they have committed in 2016 are the type of kids we need at Miami. ....at every position. Not freaking sprinklings of players who never were leaving in the first place. ***** this staph infection and all the head in the sand ostriches. Golden has a identical record to Shannon. And it' nothing to do with any clouds. Wake the **** up

Continuing to miss on the best of the best that go up to play for FSU, Alabama, Florida and the rest is not how I would define a "good class". Golden has lost the containment field around South Florida, with no end in sight.

This class is not good at all you have barely addressed any needs nor have you brought in elite game changers:

Qb- you have one solid qb kaaya and a baseball player and now your down to scrubs
rb- it's easy to get skilled players in we got them at this position
Wr- continue to miss on elite talent year after you WTf are u doing
Online- decent job still lacking complete talent
Dline- worst need on the team we continue to fail
Linebacker - very thin in talent
Secondary - next year your graduating the remaining talent fail
Kicker- wtf is going on

At the end of the day Folden accepts commits fails at evaluations and does not win any recruiting battles

This class is not that bad. its a good class. the problem is that the staff is not addressing the defense which has been 80% of the Problem. We have 6 CBs and Ultra Thin at LB with suparb DT's. the staff is not going all out to get these positions. Offensively we are good. defensively we are severely lacking.

Name Pos Ht/Wt Stars Rank

Should Not Take:
Brendan Loftus OL 6-6/282 59
Hayden Mahoney OL 6-5/270 NR
Ryan Fines DT 6-3/290 NR - Some People really like him but i dont.

Good:
Michael Jackson DB 6-1/192 33- Borderline for me with all the Talent we could have from Dade
Richard McIntosh, Jr. DE 6-4/235 43- Staff wants him as a DT/DE Hybrid
Jamie Gordinier LB 6-4/235 NR
Therrell Gosier WR 6-6/210 NR - Really Raw and i dont expect him to be in this class but i like his size and athleticism
Tyler Gauthier OL 6-5/305 NR
Jahair Jones OL 6-4/315 NR

Studs:
Bar Milo OL 6-6/280 35
Scott Patchan DE 6-6/238 18
Charles Perry LB 6-2/200 44
Jordan Scarlett RB 5-11/205 15
Tyree St. Louis OL 6-5/300 15
Mark Walton RB 5-10/180 7
Dexter Williams
Jaquan Johnson ATH 5-10/172 17
Terrell Chatman WR 6-4/185 85
Jerome Washington TE 6-5/255 NR

How can it be a "good class" when you are missing at the key positions of what your team needs?

Sorry I should have just read 81's post. Nailed it!

This class coming is pretty good, but if we don't close strong, I consider it a failure. If we were 9-3 or better, there would be better buzz with our program and we would have more local support from the community. I don't really get ****ed if we lose a few studs from our area because that's always a given. If we start landing them all, I would be wondering when the next sanctions will be taking place on our program. Recruiting in South Florida can be dirty business. If Ice Harris was our head coach, would South Florida be on lock down for us? (this is a serious question)? How hard is this market to lock down?

I have never been a star *****. Larry Coker was a star ***** recruiter and his team chemistry went to ****. I have always been a fan of balanced recruiting mixing in studs, with high character workaholics. Some say that we don't have the talent on the roster, but the next coach will be salivating at the opportunity to coach this roster.

On offense, this class is good. Add in a receiver like Calloway (doubtful he comes here) and a decent QB, and it will be solid. Defense on the other hand outside of Jaquan, Patchan and Perry is pretty pedestrian.

Ice is years away from being a head coach at the collegiate level. I doubt that there would be buzz where all of the top athletes from South Florida stay home. Although, at this juncture, I'd say he'd do better than Golden as far as on-field performance.

Coker being a star ***** isn't the reason that the program starting going down. It was his running the program like a **** country club that did us in.

Because the two are mutually exclusive.

All those high character workaholics who either quit school, got thrown out for crimes, or switched it off the last two games of the season? Record attrition and constant on-field quitting over the last 4 years, and you're ready to trust Folden's ability to recruit character?

Little tip: Just because a guy isn't a highly rated recruit doesn't mean he's automatically a high character guy. He could just as easily be another low character by who isn't a good player. Conversely, just because a guy is highly recruited doesn't mean he's low character.

Instead of erecting a wall around South Florida, Folden is putting up "Finish Line" tape.

I thought he was putting up crime scene tape. The way other schools are stealing local recruits from him, I'm surprised he hasn't filed a police report.

It ain't stealing when the recruits want nothing to do with UM. They're racing each other to get away from The Toxic Pretender and the program he destroyed.
