Ace Frehley, original band member and lead guitarist for KISS died today.

Ace Frehley was only worth an estimated $1 million when he died this week. Gene Simmons, his Kiss bandmate, is reportedly worth $400 million in comparison.

This caught my eye from Ace's obit:

In May 1983, he was arrested following a high-speed chase on the Bronx River Parkway in his 1981 DeLorean. He was charged with DUI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident after hitting four cars during the incident (luckily with no injuries).

He lived the R&R life but got sober in 2006 at age 55, and remained so the rest of his life. He credited AA. RIP
