This hurts. My father was a Captain for Eastern Airlines before they ceased operations. One evening in the 80s Warner was a passenger on one of his flights. My dad asked him, at the height of his fame, to sign an autograph for his 3 kids. Warner was extremely friendly and personalized an autograph for us (He must have been 16-17 at the time). At the height of the Cosby shows fame, to wake up one morning to see his autograph and my name in the "To" part, directly from him, was as thrilling as things could get at that time and at that age.

Not sure how he handled the rest of his life but his kindness made some kids feel really special when he could have just as easily said he was too busy, or just no. Especially at that age. Thanks MJW and godspeed.
 
He gets to be with the love of his life now.

RIP MJW

All reports indicate that we was a good guy. Despite what ultimately happened with Bill Cosby, MJW realized how iconic the show was, and it seems like he's lived a relatively low key life since his peak stardom.

In the release, it even says that he's survived by a wife and daughter but doesn't name them because he never put that information out in public.

Life sure ain't fair. Bill Cosby is still going at 88.

This one hit me.

First two albums that were ever MINE. My brother gifted me two cassettes. Black Sabbath S/T and Paranoid @ like 6 years old. Played the **** out of those albums on my little Sony Walkman.

Those two albums would be of the two albums I'd buy when I first started buying CDs and I'd buy numerous versions on vinyl.

I have a Black Sabbath concert poster from a 1972 concert at Miami Beach Convention Center in my audio room.

Cant tell you how many nights of my life were just me, Ozzy, and the lads. RIP.
