i have never said that the family likes miami nor have i ever said we like or dislike Golden, all I've said is that he will be committing to a school not a coach

If Shavar does come to miami we want him to be coming to a stable program and one with the fans and admin all on the same page as the football program

That double talk he's spewing sounds good on the surface because people always automatically accept that sort of "family values" type of rhetoric.

It's the same reason schools are too scared to stop a kid from transferring to be close to his sick mom even if his mom's not sick or he's transferring somewhere 500 miles from his sick mom. But as you just proved, it doesn't hold up to any sort of scrutiny.

No sir im simply saying that a coach coming or going is not going to affect his recruitment that is why I said a stable football program and athletic dept, like uf is a stable program even though they just changed coaches

1. Can we hang on to Jordan Scarlett? Without him we have no difference makers at RB
2. Can Stacey Coley shake out of his funk? Without him we have no difference makers at WR
3. Can someone..anyone..on the DL step up and become a dominant player? I expect LB & DB play to be pretty similar this year, so the Defense will go as the DL goes.

If all 3 of those do happen - I think we're a 9-10 win team.
If all 3 of those don't happen - I think we're a 7 win team.

Another 7 win team gets Golden fired and and will cause the 2016 recruits to look elsewhere, quick. I just hope they've already put out feelers for coaching candidates that have legitimate interest, so we can move fast and save the 2016 class if (and I'd predict when) Golden gets fired.

Correct. Jordo Scarlett is going to save Folden because he's so much better than Duke Johnson with whom Folden could only scratch out 6 wins. If that fat lump of **** should have proven anything to his last remaining nut swingers in 2014 it's that he can't even win with elite NFL level players.

probably same when ppl say that Qb won the game. The qb played a part in winning the game, but other players helped. The coaches are part of a player's development.

Without Duke running roughshod he struggled maintaining drives for us. He's not ready to carry this team. Dorsett opened up routes for Walford as well, by taking a safety with him every time he went deep. Dorsett was feared by other teams. Under a better HC, OC, and QB we would have averaged 40+ this year with the weapons we had.

It's ok, you will see next year. Flip your 10-4 around and you'd be a lot more accurate.

I would love Golden to go 4-10 because That'll mean the ACC was so ******* horrible Miami got in with a 2-9 record, wins the ACC then probably lose by 70 points in the BCS bowl-whatever its called now. 4-10. Lets get it done. lol

Would love nothing better for the Canes than a "impressive" season of winning. Hope we make a coaching change even if though. Al ain't Miami material. History doesn't say so and I can't see Alice making the aggressive changes necessary to compete with the big boys.

We have seen this movie before and it always ends up badly. 2016 is looking great and the is no play on the field to hit us with reality. I fell for completely in 2013, got excited against my better judgement in 2014, even though I thought re-season Al should be canned after Cincy game. This year I am not drinking that stuff. Al has proven one thing, he is the same coach every day. Just like he preaches. The is that coach stinks --- every single day, day after frigging day. Player improves, top out or get worse, but not Al. He just stinks the place up every day. He had to perform magic the last two years to NOT get to ACC Championship game. Why should getting there now matter. Any decent coach runs the table in 2014 with Duke, Kaaya and DP and plays in the playoff. Al goes 6-7. Nothing short of an NC will be enough for me. If he WINS ACC, I am sure he stays but without my support. FSU has crested and can be beat so finally winning it is not that big a thing. Al has been a dismal failure at the end of games and end of seasons. That is a useless coach. JJ got beat his first bowl game and got out-coached in the next two by a couple pretty good coaches, but never embarrassed like Al. Even if he wins the NC, I want him to take another job with out blessings.

I don't think talent is the problem. I think it was team chemistry. I think the Ryan Williams, Brad Kaaya situation was more toxic than anybody could have realized. We can't use talent as the issue when we have 4 guys that will be coming off of the draft boards before the end of Round 3. I may be one of the only optimistic ones on this board, but I like what I'm seeing from this year's team. I do follow some of these guys on Instagram (I'm not one of these weirdos that post on every photo...lol), but in the past, I haven't seen where a lot of guys hung out together like I do with the younger guys now. If this 2016 class sticks together, I think it buys Golden another year, no matter the outcome of next season.

I think everyone on here that has dealt with me nows I'm a FSU fan, but they also know that my nephew is Shavar Manuel who is someone miami is recruiting and I mostly just give updates about him and his recruitment

The reason I asked is to see how the fans would feel about Golden and how fans feel admin would react after Golden showed some progress on the field and with the recruiting class for 2016, If Shavar does come to miami we want him to be coming to a stable program and one with the fans and admin all on the same page as the football program
