Just read this on SI regarding the Michigan job that's gonna be open soon,

The wildcard name here is Al Golden. He’s on his third athletic director at Miami. Instead of praise from the fan base for enduring the Nevin Shapiro-induced NCAA nuclear winter, there’s airplane flyovers calling for his dismissal and former Miami players ripping him on Twitter. His tie-on-the-sideline image would fly much better in Ann Arbor than Coral Gables.

A school like Michigan isn't stupid enough to hire Golden. Our only hope is a school that doesn't know any better.

Ive browsed a couple of their boards to see the names they toss around. I thought they were nuts with Miles and Harbaugh.... but a couple days later I heard the talking heads saying the same thing on TV... Al Golden is a motel 6, and Michigan stays at the Hilton.

LMAO. Why the **** would Michigan hire Golden? Michigan is one of the few programs that can hire a HUGE name and pay 5 million plus. They are going to hire a guy from Miami who fans are flying banners to fire? And who hasn't had an impressive season yet?

If Michigan wants to actually make a splash, Golden will be the last to even be considered. They are not looking for a great spokesman to go up against Urban Liar like we have against Jumbo...

I have a better chance of stumbling my way into a 3way with Asa Akira and Alina Li than we, as canes fans, do of having Golden 'stolen' from us by Michigan.

I refuse to believe we can have lightning strike twice (Mizzou stealing Haith).

If any school comes calling for Al, he'd have to be retarded not to listen. He has to know his time here is limited and once he's fired he'll likely be a position coach at some MAC school for the foreseeable future. Go somewhere with a fresh start where he will be given 4-5 more years to turn things around and then probably get fired and collect his buyout.

By then he should have saved enough to open up his used car lot. Then the real career begins.

0.0% chance of Michigan hiring another guy who did ok in the MAC but has proven nothing at a higher level. Hoke actually did much better in the MAC than Folden did.

Our best chance is a low level program like UVA, Buttgers, or Illinois.
 
doesnt make sense -- finally have a elite qb and no NCAA crap. dont believe hed leave.
