After reading these sickening comments, I decided to look into some recruiting stats to see how much THE CLOUD truly affected our recruiting when comparing it to our opponents over the last two years... We all know we suck.. and that for the past 4 years, we have lost to INFERIOR opponents.. But I wanted to compare our recruiting efforts under the cloud compared to those we've played in 2013 and 2014... Here are my findings:
You'll notice from the chart, our Average Recruiting Ranking according to Rivals for the past 4 years was 19.5.
The ONLY opponent in 2014 with a better Recruiting Ranking was FSU..
In 2014 WINS, Golden's 4 Year Average was 34.8 spots better than our opponents Rankings... In other words, our opponent's average class ranking was 54.05
In 2014 LOSSES, Golden's 4 Year Average was 12 spots BETTER than our oppenent's Rankings.. In other words, our opponents average class ranking was 33.75
Very similar story line when looking at 2013 W/L.... Our Ranking for 2011-2013 (3 Years) was 21.67
In 2013 WINS, Golden's 4 Year Average was 28.1 spots better than our opponents Rankings... In other words, our opponent's average class ranking was 49.79
In 2013 LOSSES, Golden's 4 Year Average was 11.8 spots BETTER than our oppenent's Rankings.. In other words, our opponents average class ranking was 33.5
Once again, this info is in no way eye-opening... We all know we've under achieved... It just magnifies the BS excuses that are constanly made up by our AD and President... There is no substance to the claim that due to the NCAA cloud, this is now Golden's first year.... Unfortunately, if up to our administation, I think he stays.
