If Golden is willing to fall on his sword for D'Onofrio, I think that says more about him as a man, than a National Championship ever could, but maybe that's just me looking at it through the prism of being a friend/person on the planet earth.

It's simply a matter of perspective. If you place winning above all else as a fan, then of course his loyalty to D'Onofrio will incense you, but if you look at it through the spectrum of being a person who has been someone's friend for over 20 years, I don't begrudge him his loyalty, it's the university's job to decide what standard they want to hold the football program to.

What Jerzey doesn't understand is that yes its your typical coach speak. The problem is, Golden has taken that coach speak and used it to excuse his failures. He's done it so many times that at this point, no matter what he says sounds like typical excuse making bull**** which if we lose it will turn into.

Its not like people are making **** up about Golden using these kinds of sayings as excuses, hes actually done it many many times.

Last weeks game of Virginia Tech, I actually thought Brewer had a weak arm, doesn't have much zip at all.
He threw a sideline comeback at 15 yards and it took forever, Pitt db was able to break it up and they ain't fast.
His arm is reminiscent of Jacory Harris in my opinion, maybe even slightly weaker.
If we lose to this team, it's more then an embarrassment. We will officially be suntan U again.
